1973 Pearson 10M *** PRELIMINARY LISTING *** The LA FINESSE is a 1973 model PEARSON 10M performance-oriented cruising sailing ("cruiser / racer" in those days!) yacht. She is a good example of the earlier version of PEARSON YACHT's very successful "10M" series that were produced from 1973 to 1981 with a total of some 230 "10M's being built! The PEARSON 10M was .. and still is .. highly-regarded for her strength of construction, great sailing performance, ease-of-maintenance and very good accommodations & room below. The LA FINESSE is nicely-equipped for her intended market with her newer WESTERBEKE diesel & sail inventory, dodger & good RAYMARINE electronics. Her topsides were AWLGRIPPED White a number of years ago as well. She has not been commissioned for the past several Seasons. This auction is for a 1991 Sunfish by Pearson sailvboat complete with sail, mast, daggerboard, rudder and rigging. This boat was lake used since new and is in very good shape. There are no scratches on the keel from beaching the boat whatsoever (see photos). There is one small ding on starboard corner and one of the stern handles broke off at some point but is easily replaced. We have included 64 large pictures below the add to show you as much detail as possible . You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located in Old Saybrook Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment. The boat looks to be complete with rudder, keel ,mast and rigging. The sail included looks to be the original and is in good shape. The gel-coat is all original on the interior and exterior looks great other than needing a coat of wax. Overall this looks to be a good example of an older original boat that looks ready to sail. Please view all the large pictures below this ad to examine all details. The boat will need to be paid for in full and picked up within one week of auction ending unless you have made other arrangements with us.
