1966 Pearson Countess 44 “CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE.  ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED. General Description Sought after Alden Design, Pearson. Pearson Countess 44 was designed by John Alden, and was built by Pearson Yachts, in production from 1965 to 1971. This spacious and extremely well built yacht will take you to Bermuda, the Caribbean or even around the world as safely, as quickly, and as comfortably as a newer yacht. Actual Condition This is a donation boat. It is reported this vessel has been sitting on the hard at least 4 years. The hull was last painted in 1999. There are some minor gouges and scrapes on the hull. In 2012 a survey reported that the deck was percussion tested and with no delamination detected. The hull appeared intact, but the interior needs a complete rehab, and some exterior wood needs repairs; such as rub rail and the doors. There is standing water in the bilge and on the salon floor. On the rudder, there were confined areas of coring delamination detected in 2012, and the rudder may need to be removed and rebuilt. *Please inspect carefully for further damage.
