1968 CAL 34 CAL 34, 1968, Yanmar diesel, in the water and ready to sail, for sale in Stamford, Connecticut. The C William Lapworth designed Cal 34 is a successful cruiser/racer; 347 hulls were built between 1968 and 1975. This is one of the models that built the reputation of the CAL name and Jensen shipyard for strong, easy sailing classic yachts, built with integrity. CALs are known for their lasting quality, roomy interior, great headroom, and today are popular for live aboard. Baka is a fine example of this class. She sleeps 6 below in the traditional forepeak (2), main salon (2) and after berths (2). The head is forward, separating the forepeak from the main salon, marine toilet to starboard, sink and vanity to port.  The port side dinette seats 6 or sleeps 2. The linear galley is to Starboard with a large top opening ice box, CNG 3 burner cook top and oven on either side of the stainless sink. Aft are two pilot berths great for sleeping in a seaway or entirely too convenient for extra storage. On deck, Baka’s keel stepped mast is not original though we do not know when it was replaced. Rod rigging and the roller furling is clearly also newer. She is tiller steering in a large cockpit. All lines lead to the cockpit. Decks are plenty wide to easy passage forward. Sails are Dacron, a little tired but serviceable. The Yanmar 3 GM diesel is a replacement of the original Atomic Four, again not sure when the repower was accomplished, engine hours unknown, which starts easily and runs well. Baka needs some cosmetic work both above and below decks. She is a good candidate for a live aboard and is perfectly capable of near shore cruising. She is a fine value at the offered price.

Introduced in 1991 as the first modern day keelboat with bow-sprit and asymmetric spinnaker, J/105 today is the most successful one-design keelboat class over 30' in the USA with over 680 boats sailing worldwide. The class association is an owner managed organization with strict one-design rules, a world class web site, and offers some of the best and most active one-design racing in the USA today. J/105 has the stability, rig and sail controls to handle 15-20 knot winds without the need of reefing and the strength and seaworthiness for ocean going passages. Described as “the ultimate daysailer racer and weekender” the 105 is easy to sail. All halyards & sail controls lead aft to the cockpit and the bowsprit and asymmetric spinnaker system make downwind sailing simple for two people. With a spacious v-berth forward and two 6’5” settees amidships, the J/105 has plenty of room for weekend getaways or overnight racing. Call today to see this excellent example of a timeless design!

1987 Ericson 35         ******************* SIGNIFICANT PRICE REDUCTION *********************SPRING 2015 This Ericson 35 is located on the South Shore of Mass - Buzzards Bay area. She is well maintained by it's second owner who enjoys single handing her every week. He's just decided to down size, to something a little smaller. She's a CG documented boat, and shows very well for her age. The hull and decks appear to be in very good condition. Nice sail inventory with a Hood main, Quantum furling 135 genoa/jib and also has a gennaker for those long downwind runs. All lines lead aft to the cockpit to make single handling that much easier. Under sail the boat performs extremely well allowing for almost hands off sailing once she's "in the groove". She turns rapidly allowing tacks to be performed smoothly. The cabin top main traveler is well placed out of the cockpit providing plenty of cockpit space for the crew, comfortably seated on the cockpit cushions. On deck, all the Barient winches are self tailing (6 of them), there is a dodger, Navtec backstay adjuster, a claw anchor for those muddy bottoms, a propane gas grill for on deck cooking, and a Raymarine RC435i GPS and chart plotter. There is also an Auto Helm 4000 autopilot that works but is currently disconnected. (The cable is being used to run the GPS). There's also a Ritchie compass, depth sounder, wind direction, and knot meter. The engine is a Universal 21 hp diesel, which appears to be in very good condition.Down below to starboard is the galley with a 3 burner CNG stove and oven, hot and cold water SS sink, 2 ice chests, with both salt and fresh water foot pumps for drainage. To port and aft is the good sized quarter berth and just forward of that the electrical panel, battery switch and nav station. Forward of the nav station is the dinette area which is convertible into 2 additional berths. The boat actually has sleeping accommodations for 6, but as with most boats of this size, that doesn't allow much room for storing anything else. She's perfect for a couple or 4 friends going cruising. The sole is teak and holly and just gleams as a testament to the current owners desire to ensure that his boat is well maintained. Forward of the dinette is the head and shower, and forward of that is the comfortable V berth with a hanging locker and drawer storage. The Ericson 35 is shown by appointment only.
