A great deal of work has been completed to update the vessel. Engines fire immediately and run well. Transmission engages forward and reverse. Check out this 1987 Rampage 40 Convertible Sportfishing Beast. Powered with Detroit Diesel 6v92 engines, this one has plenty of power to get up and get going quick. The vessel has 3 helms stations. All helm stations and electronics are in good working order according to the seller. The Deck appears to be solid without soft spots or any issues. The vessel has a large V-berth forward stateroom and a smaller stateroom with two bunks to the port. There is a large head with a separate shower area. There is a small galley in the main salon and a bar. The photos were taken while the boat was being serviced. The vessel's furniture will be re-installed for the new owner. 1988 Rampage 40 Sportfisherman The Rampage 40 is built for the big game tournament fisherman who also will spend time aboard with his family, and thus doesn’t want to forego the amenities of a cruising style yacht.  Powered by twin 450 hp Detroit diesels, the Rampage offers a quiet ride.  The spacious fishing cockpit is made all the more inviting by two carefully positioned airfoils that channel the flow across the cockpit for a clean and dry ride.  Built into the fighting deck are two, 20 cubic foot insulated fish boxes which lift out for below decks access.  Between the fish boxes is another lift-out storage bin ideal for rode, fenders and the like.
