From The Factory: The Sea Ray 280 Bow Rider has all the power and performance of her sister bow riders, plus a redesigned cockpit layout for more passenger room than ever before. With large circular aft seating and up to ten guests can travel in style with space to spare for storage. In fact, the 280 Bow Rider features a bow seat and side storage, cockpit side panel storage, dedicated anchor storage with hatch, lighted floor storage with Diamond Plate flooring, and a glove box at the helm. A lockable, lighted compartment under the starboard dash makes stowing and organizing docking lines simple with a hanger bar and hangers. The cockpit of the 280 Bow Rider is meticulously styled with a molded dash, burl instrument panel, Italian mahogany tilt steering wheel and indirect cockpit lighting throughout. An all-day supply of food and drinks can be stocked in the full entertainment center with cooler, glass rack, wetbar and trash receptacle. A dual-voltage refrigerator can store even more provisions. For convenient dining, the cockpit has a standard table. The bow section has plenty of its own amenities, including a removable cooler, side storage, and a table that can be instantly turned into a spacious sunpad by inserting the matching filler cushions. A Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with amplifier and six speakers with cockpit remote control provides the tunes for the day. And a self-bailing fiberglass cockpit liner makes maintenance worries a thing of the past. As always, Sea Ray's customary use of stainless steel hardware, high-performance vinylester resin, along with stylish graphics in three different color choices, ensure that the 280 Bow Rider will keep its good looks for years to come. The electrically operated engine hatch hidden under the U-shaped aft seat lifts to reveal a powerful 310 horsepower Bravo III MCM stern drive, the power plant that's setting standards everywhere. Power steering makes it even more responsive. The 280 Bow Rider can also be upgraded with a 454 Magnum MPI Bravo III MCM with Corsa exhaust, twin gas sterns, single diesel or twin diesel stern drive options for even more power. Operational systems built into the 280 Bow Rider are engineered with safety as a top priority. There's an automatic bilge pump, high water bilge alarm and pump, automatic forward sump pump, audible engine alarms
