The 1999 Sea Ray 280 Sun Sport is a great looking, well-laid-out Express Cruiser ready for you to spend a day out on the water or a weekend away from the dock.
The roomy cockpit will entertain and keep guests comfortable. Below decks, there are plenty of overnighting accommodations with a small galley, dinette, and enclosed head.
The 1999 Sea Ray 280 SS features plenty of cockpit seating with a wet bar.
At the helm is a dual bench seat with a bolster.
The helm features an array of gauges to monitor the operation of the vessel which included trim tab controls and a windlass control.
To port is a forward and aft facing seat with a storage locker beneath. The seats can be folded down to create a lounger. There is a grab rail with integrated beverage holders.
Located behind the helm is a wet bar that includes a sink, built-in ice or beverage cooler that drains, and a cockpit refrigerator.
The aft bench seat run the full beam. There is a removable cushion with a flip-up back to make access to and from the swim platform easier and also save the cushion.
There is a pedestal cockpit table that can be installed or stowed when not in use.
A walk-through windshield with integrated steps in the cabin door provides access to the bow, where you'll find a windlass. The windlass provides effortless controls from the helm to lower and raise the anchor.
There is a swim ladder, grab bar with ski eye, and aft shower located at the swim platform.
Below decks, you'll find plenty of accommodations for both entertaining and staying overnight.
The salon features a locker as you enter down the steps. Inside the locker you'll find the dinette filler cushions to convert it to a berth. There is also a stereo amplifier.
Moving forward from the locker is an electric panel, microwave oven, and a built-in self-draining beverage locker. There is a jump seat below the electric panel and microwave that flows into the dinette. The dinette wraps around the forward portion of the cabin. Each seat has storage beneath each removable seat base.
There are two port holes to either side with a overhead hatch that opens to allow in fresh air.
To starboard is the enclosed head. It features a foot-flush toilet, sink with faucet that can be extended to make a shower. There is also cabinet storage.
The 1999 Sea Ray comes with a full cockpit enclosure (forward, side Isinglass, slant back canvas and a Bimini.
The trailer was recently purchased to provide a storage haven for the boat during the winter months.

1997 Sea Ray 280 Sunsport, 1997 Sea Ray 280 Sun Sport, Sun Sport with fishing package (straight back seat). 475 Hours, boat is in overall great shape. It has a huge cockpit plus the convenience of a bathroom, galley and sleeping accommodations for 2. Well taken care of and never abused, regularly washed and waxed- Twin 350's with Alpha 1 Drives- Rack Stored (all but 3 years)- No bottom paint- Enclosed head features all fiberglass construction with sink, vanity, pullout shower, and VacuFlush head with holding tank- Wet bar with refrigerator- New carpet with full camper canvas that's never been used. Cover is only used to keep dust out of boat- Garmin GPSI have all the maintenance records from what I've had done as well as the previous owner. 18 hours on current oil change. I also have the last survey that was done that I can share.
