In March of 2024, this Skipjack 262 Flybridge underwent some upgrades. The original engine was replaced with a Mercruiser 6.2L with a Bravo Three outdrive as a great combo. A new Throttle control and batteries were also added. For better control, Trim tabs were installed. New gauges were installed, and a 12-inch Simrad combo with Radar was installed. A new Stereo was installed at the same time. Inside the cabin, a new toilet was installed. 1991 Skipjack 262 Flybridge, 1991 26' Skipjack Flybridge Diesel in excellent, turn-key condition. This boat has been cared for meticulously over the 7 years I have owned her. Every pump, belt, filter has been recently replaced and this boat is ready to head offshore. The outdrive was replaced NEW in 2/16 and has 0 hours. The motor was pulled in 2/15 and the bilge was painted, motor painted, batteries replaced (2 house, 2 motor). The Volvo 41B (200 HP) is in excellent condition and has a SS oil pan ($3,000 upgrade). The 2 scoop Blue Water bait tank (48 Gallon) works great has 5 rod holders. This boat has a long list of equipment and will provide a lifetime of enjoyment going forward. This example of Skipjack was built by Jack Cole (original builder) in the good old days when he was able to utilize much better boat materials (Gelcoat/Fiberglass/Stainless Steel/Etc) when the boats were built in Costa Mesa, CA.
