This Islander 36 was used as a live-aboard for a while. The seller reports it's a good boat with a strong motor. The bottom was painted around 2018. It's unknown what year the Westerbeke was installed. The owner indicates the keel bolts and mast footing were epoxied in for corrosion resistance. For drinking water, there's a tankless reverse osmosis system, and the head has a newer 9-gallon holding tank. The Nav system will need a new display for the wind speed, depth meter. With some TLC, this Islander 36 can be brought back to her original glory. Stock #338252 1974 Islander 36, a good boat with a Westerbeke 44a 4-cylinder diesel inboard. Whether you're looking for a weekender on the water or planning on doing more serious sailing, the Islander 36 is ready for your new adventures. With her large cockpit and roomy interior, you can invite your friends along. Her 4 berths make her capable of sleeping up to 6 people. Two in the V-berth, 2 in the fold-out berth to port, the settee to starboard and the quarter berth aft makes 6. If you do end up with a boat full of people, you can unfold and extend the salon table to accommodate a meal or cards for everybody. Or, folded away, she offers a lot of interior room. The enclosed head has a toilet and sink, and the galley is a nice place to prepare snacks with the 3-burner stove and refrigerator. Just in front of the aft quarter berth is the Nav station. The engine is the 40 HP Westerbeke diesel, which is plenty big for the job. It hasn't been used a lot. Mainly to get into and out of the slip. Her sails consist of the main and the rolling furler jib. The previous owner left a few more sails onboard and we're not sure exactly what they are.

This S2 11.0 Sloop has not been used much over the last few years. It's mainly dirty and the seller suggests it needs to be painted, have the through hulls changed, and the toilet plumbing repaired. He'd intended to restore the wood doors and drawers and switch out the wall covering. He's purchased new wall material. The Trojan Deep Cycle batteries are fairly new, he'll include the Mast Climber and a small compressor for diving, etc. The owner indicates the original engine onboard needs a head gasket replaced. Since the engine is non-functional, there will need to be an in-water survey. The owner will include a replacement Volvo Penta 17c engine that he purchased for $3800.
