The boat is very clean and did not notice any rips or tears in any upholstery. The newer isinglass enclosure was in great shape. Did not notice any major scrapes or dings on the outside. This 1989 Viking 35 Invader is ready for fun in the sun or fishing excursion and has Detroit Diesel 6.5L turbo engines that will get you there fast. Drive from the flybridge, which has captain's and passenger chairs and easy-to-reach and read dials and equipment. There is large bench seating in front and side for guests, and there is a ladder to get in and out. There is a large deck area for entertaining or fishing, with a sliding glass door to the salon. The deck has a live well and bait well for fishing. Rod holders are across the flybridge. The floor has nonskid decking. Step into the salon area for living or entertaining and step down into the open galley area. The bathroom is across from the galley with a separate entrance from the bedroom. V-berth has plenty of storage and two wardrobe closets. Storage under the bed as well. Reason for selling is getting out of boating.

The overall condition of the Laguna is good to fair. The hull and deck appear to be in good shape (no major gauges or scrapes with a little spider cracking in spots). The window next to the helm was cracked. Stock #247941 1974 Laguna , 2 Detroit diesel engines. make beautiful memories in this classic boat. The 1974 Laguna 38 Sportfish built Grand Banks is a unique design and known for being a well-built sportfish. The Laguna is equipped with twin diesel engines, two staterooms, and a roomy salon providing comfortable living accommodations. The hull is said to perform magnificently in big water. If you're looking for a fishing platform and/or a cruiser, the Laguna is a special design and rare boat that deserves consideration. The 1974 Laguna 38 Sportfish aft deck has a closed transom with a swim platform. There are storage lockers in either corner, a freshwater washdown, and a ladder that leads to the flybridge. The flybridge has a canvas cover and sports a radar arch. Seating consists of a center bench seat with forward and aft facing bench seats to port and starboard. There is a convenient pull-out table behind the center helm seat. A set of sliding glass doors separates the aft cockpit from the salon area. Stepping through the salon entry doors you'll find a sofa to port. The starboard area currently has a small table. The helm has a large bolster seat so you can navigate from a myriad of conditions. The helm dash contains the gauges to monitor the operation of the boat along with controls and switches to work all the systems. The galley located to port contains a refrigerator, a stove, stainless-steel sink, and a microwave. There is also drawer and cupboard storage for provisions and utensils. Heading forward down a set of steps you'll find a mid-cabin stateroom to port, the enclosed head to starboard and the forward stateroom at the end of the companion way. The mid-cabin stateroom is equipped with bunkbeds, a mirror with dresser drawers at both ends of the cabin, and a hanging locker. Across the hall is the enclosed head that features a flush toilet, a sink with vanity cabinets below, a medicine cabinet and compartment storage, and a shower stall. The forward stateroom is configured with elevated berths with storage drawers beneath each. There are hanging lockers to each side of the forward stateroom. A hatch above lets in natural light and can be opened to allow in fresh air.

The overall condition of the vessel is that it needs some work. The hull appeared to be in good shape with no large gauges or scratches. The engines/engine compartment was dirty and had some standing water. The port engine hatch felt soft; starboard engine hatch is plywood. The swim ladder is broken. The flybridge is accessed via a stainless-steel ladder with teak steps. The helm is center aligned and features gauges, switches and controls to monitor and run the boat. Seating on the flybridge consists of a pedestal seat for the captain with two bench seats to either side. The seat bottoms open to reveal storage beneath. The cockpit is large with lots of room to work lines and fish the cockpit utilizing the 11' 10" beam. The cockpit has a deck rail, large engine hatches, under gunnel cleats, and a wash down. Stepping through the sliding salon glass door into the salon you'll find the galley area to the immediate left. The galley is outfitted with a stove, oven, sink, along with cabinet and drawer storage. Opposite the galley to port is the enclosed head.
