Up for sale is one of my sweet boats that would be a very nice classic cruising boat for somebody. It does need a little transom work but the small hole does not go through both layers of wood so a new piece of wood could be inserted in to fix. It has a built in 10-12 gallon fuel tank, Teleflex steering has been added and comes with canvas travel cover. Along the outside edge of the gunwales needs a little sanding and clear coat but that is the only place that needs varnish work but the driver side flip-out windshield needs a little glue and a screw also (see picture). The trailer is in good shape and pulls just fine and the tires are in good condition as are the bearings and the trailer lights do work. Boat has current registration but trailer does not have current registration. If the buy it now would be done then I would include a 1961? Johnson 40 HP outboard that does run and include some controls and wiring box. All of this fine project is being sold as is where is with local pickup only. Up for sale is my 1956 Thompson Bros Wooden 15' Sea Coaster Boat with a 1957 or 1958 Johnson Javelin 35 hp Motor/controls on a trailer. It is unrestored and untested. It was purchased from the family who has owned it for around 50 years. It was stored inside out of the weather and is well preserved. While trying to replace the tires on the trailer, one of the wheel splines broke, so new wheels & tires and a new axle was installed. While you can pull it down the road, I would recommend that you trailer the rig on a flatbed or enclosed car hauler to get to your destination (or I can deliver it in my enclosed trailer for a fee (to be determined by the seller based on destination). The flywheel of the motor will turn but the motor itself has not been tested for running condition as I do not have the knowledge or experience to do this - I'm not a boat person). It was manufactured in Peshtigo Wisconsin at the Thompson Bros Boat Factory. I am located by Flint Michigan which is one hour north of Detroit and 3 hours south of the Mackinac Bridge.Any questions please contact me 734-516-9166
