2015 Ranger Tugs 31 Command Bridge This 2015 Ranger 31 Command Bridge will be the only Ranger 31 Command Bridge left for delivery for this model year for Southern California. She is configured with the Dark Midnight Blue Hull and has all of the new 2015 upgrades. The R-31 Command Bridge shares many of the features and qualities of her smaller sisterships but some notable additions to this larger model make her ideal for extended cruising while still being a trailerable trawler. The R-31 is the first Ranger Tug to feature an optional flybridge equipped with electronic controls at both the upper and lower helm. The builders at Ranger Tugs also equipped the foredeck with seating and a table that can be raised or lowered depending on whether the boat is under way or at anchor or dock for entertaining. The foredeck of the R-31 allows for a larger cockpit area with wraparound seating and extra seating that folds out of the gunwale on the back deck. When not entertaining, seats are folded leaving the cockpit unencumbered. The interior layout of the R-31 features two staterooms—one large island berth forward with en suite head and a midship berth and day head. Those who are familiar with Ranger Tugs models will recognize the galley layout and lower helm station that maximize interior space. A starboard side door provides easy access from the lower helm to the side decks so crew can get to the bow for line handling. Like all Ranger Tugs, the new R-31 comes essentially turnkey with standard features and equipment intended to make her owner’s experience hassle-free and allow for ease of handling and comfort under way. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, an optional aft steering station and a Volvo D4 300hp engine that achieves a 16 knot cruise speed. 2017 Ranger Tugs CB 29 CB The all new Ranger R 29 Command Bridge is another masterpiece of innovation! The more modern styling features a curved front window and an overhead glass atrium that provides exceptional visibility from the helm station and salon area. An ingenious aft cockpit seating arrangement includes a reversible seat, port and starboard jump seats and a teak table for outside dining. The opening cabin bulkhead with reversible seat also provides additional cockpit seating while bringing the outside-in. The new Ranger Tug 29 CB accommodates up to six adults in three separate berths, including the forward island berth with en-suite head. The R29 CB is powered by a fuel efficient 260 HP Volvo Inboard Diesel engine that is located completely outside of the cabin for quiet cruising. Standard stern and bow thrusters make docking exceptionally easy. Fully Custom One-of-a-Kind Tugboat Yacht Cruiser:Self-Powering from Solar Panels Fully Restored in 2014-2015 Motivated Seller and willing to Negotiate on price! Reason for selling: Unfortunately, I can not bring this to New York City as I got a new job and will be moving. From 2014-2015 I have restored the entire boat. The boat has new fiberglass and brand new electronics. Even though it was built back in 1989 it has been fully restored! The original owner spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to create this one of a kind Tugboat. The original hull is made out of wood but the entire boat is fiberglassed over by hand. There has been thousands of man hour's in labor in creating this ONE of ONE tugboat. Originally I had a Volvo Diesel in it but recently transformed the tugboat into electric. The boat runs faster than most harbor cruisers and is very quite. Brand New GE motor and industrial system D-C motor. The motor mount has been custom built to fit the barely used Volvo Transmission. The engine runs great and is brand new. All the electronics are brand new including the Solar Panels. This tugboat can be charged from the Shore power BUT it can RUN FULLY from the power collected from the Solar Panels on top of the roof. The battery life is about 5 hours but with the solar panels you get an estimated 4 extra hours of battery life, so the total Battery Life becomes about 9 hours of fun! The seats are custom built to the stainless steel and are Brand New as well. The original owner had the Stainless Steel Frame custom built, which has been valued around $60,000. The horns are connected to (2) 5-gallon air compressor tank. There are THREE bilge pumps to ensure water stays out of the boat and also has an automatic setting to ensure water stays out when you are away. Maneuvering this boat is very easy especially with the $10,000 Bow Thruster system. The tugboat was originally 18 ft but extended 6 extra feet to give it a more unique look (Now a total of 24 ft in length). The paint job is only 4 weeks old! Brand new tinted windows.
