1959 Whitcraft HOUSEBOAT 1959 Whitcraft 32' Houseboat. Restored. Steel hull. 36' overall including extended inboard outboard engine compartment. Features industry's first ever Inboard Outboard from Volvo/Penta. Aquamatic AQ110hp I/O recently overhauled by Hennen Engine, New reconditioned head and new conponents. Rebuilt dual Zenith Stromberg carbs, water pump, alternator, fuel pump. Current owner since 1999. Shallow water 18" deepest draft at the drive skeg, brass propeller.Exterior hull refinished in 2014, sandblasted and epoxy primed, sanded re-painted with Interlux Enamel. New marine plywood roof with one piece commercial UV refective vinyl skin (2014). Upper pilot bunk accomodation added. Below waterline was sandblasted inside and out in 2003, epoxy coated and bottom coated with SIM 1000 Polyurethane. Deck reconditioned with non-slip coating. Interior was updated with cherry stained board and batten paneling in 2000, new dinette tabletops and countertops in 2014. Updated bathroom with raw water toilet (2016). Water system is non operational other than toilet. Boat has standard plug 110v shorepower, mini refrigerator, AM/FM/CD stereo, depth finder, 12v brass interior accent lighting fixtures, running lights and rope lights. Recently replaced dual Interstate starting batteries and battery switch.Triple axle trailer w/o brakes. Suitable for short distance low speed haul-outs to and from landing and storage. New bearings and hitch.

One of the BEST houseboats ever built, for sale. I have owned this boat for three years, I've done EXTENSIVE work throughout her. She's water tight, and solid. It has two 2005 Mercury Optimax 225 XXL. They have custom houseboat propellers which push her 22MPH at 3500 RPM and at 14 GPH. With both engines wide open throttle, 5500RPM and she will do 36MPH! Both engines have 500HRS since brand new and have ALWAYS been maintained via Mercury. They run Flawless. Also has Mercury smart view system for engines. Engines are mounted to a Custom Porter Bracket (Jack plate) which tilts up and down to adjust depth. While running and dead rest she draws 2.2 Feet of water and also is 11-12 FT tall. She has 6 batteries total, 4 house and 2 start batteries. She also makes 100 Watts of solar to charge all house Batteries. It has 3 Bimini tops all in good condition. It has a windless anchor system, and a 13,500 BTU A/C with heat, all can be run on a small generator. The stove is a 3 burner and works great, I currently use a 5 Gallon portable toilet, which works great. Boat has NO Black water tanks. Shower works, as do all the sinks. It has a forward birth, a salon convertible bed, and kitchen convertible bed. New curtains, floor, paint and most importantly NO ROT! You can drive from top flybridge or downstairs both have full controls. Windows are in great shape and there are no leaks. This is a TURN KEY Traveling houseboat, that means its ready to go now. If you are going to live on it, you will need a composting toilet ($1000) to stay legal.
