Beautifully Restored Ericson 38 Sailboat! Has undergone extensive upgrades!
Introduced in 1980, the Ericson 38 was designed by the incomparable Bruce King whose talent for drawing beautiful boats of near-perfect proportions.
This is a two owner sailor. The original owner reported Hull Transom is built as the "reverse" style with a swim ladder with intention for speed and strength of stern stay. A limited Number of Ericson 38s have this feature.
The engine throttle and transmission shift linkage are mounted directly on the steering wheel pedestal. Compass and fathometer readout and fathometer alarm are also pedestal mounted and all gauges lighted.
For easy one-hand operation the hydraulic stern stay tensioner and release controls are installed next to Helm.
Additional features: Starboard galley has a large refrigeration/ freezer with the compressor mounted in aft quarter hatch, factory coal/ wood stove heat, factory built in wine rack factory entertainment center.
The tall mast rig was factory ordered with super-strength stay and shroud cabling.
