1977 Allied Seawind II Ketch
The Seawind Ketch is a well known blue water boat designed by the naval architect Thomas Gilmore, gaining notoriety as the first fiberglass design sailboat to circumnavigate the globe. Her construction is solid, hand laid glass and glass foam-cored deck. The original brochure described her as "a real, he-man, sea-going, superbly-designed, painstakingly-crafted, traditional yacht - with all that the name implies in comfort, performance, styling, safety, convenience and durability.
This Seawind Ketch is in Excellent Condition and was repowered with a New Westerbeke diesel in 2014.
