Many places where there will be a project needed to bring it up to speed. There is currently a 2 x 10 laying on the floor of the berth that you must walk on or you will fall through. Apparently, there was water coming into the boat for years from the front that was collecting on the floor and eventually rotted out the wood. Overall condition is good, and with a little TLC will make a great express cruiser for its next owner. Current owner reports that the 250 HP Mercruiser engine runs strong. Trailer is reported to be in good condition. Stock #361597 250 HP MERCRUISER! GREAT RUNNING CONDITION, TRAILER INCLUDED!!! This 2000 Bayliner 2455 Ciera has an open-air cockpit and helm and is powered by a 250HP Mercruiser. Included is a dual-axle trailer. The boat comes with a retractable Bimini top for shade. Sun lovers will also like the l-shaped sunlounge. It has a pivotal backrest that permits you to sit facing either forward or aft or it can be folded flat to create a full-length sunlounge. In addition to the driver's bench, there is a folding bench seat along the transom. A removable table turns the aft cockpit into an entertainment center. The boat has a walk-through transom door to the swim platform for ease of boarding. Access to the foredeck has built-in steps on the dash console. Molded-in toe rails on the foredeck lead to a recessed area at the forepeak for safe and convenient handling of lines. In addition to an anchor locker, the boat has chocks to prevent the lines from chafing on the deck. There is plenty of stand-up headroom in both the cabin and head. The enclosed head also features a screened window. Stowage space abounds on the boat so you should have no problem bringing along everything you need and then some. There is even a removable trash can located beneath the hinged step from the cockpit to the cabin. Reason for selling is no longer uses.

This was bought in Huntsville, AL from an Insurance company. The power went off at dock and the pumps stopped working as the boat took on water at the dock. This sank at dock. There is no damage to the hull and it is all good. By law it was recovered immediately. There is a chip out of one blade on one of the 2 props. The engine had water but since has been removed. The motor turns by hand. We know nothing about the engine as we do not want to damage it further by starting it. The interior has been cleaned a bit. This needs to be gone over and checked out. Repair the engine and needs a starter. The engine is the same as a 2000 GMC suburban 7.4 gas engine 454HP. Parts are easy to find. We tell it like it is and our feedback speaks for itself. There will be an extra $200 fee added to the winning bid of this auction for a dealer service fee. I know you are going to ask me if the motor runs. We did not check the motor because the starter did not work. We simply turned it by hand to make sure it was loose. We do not guarantee anything about the engine and this is as is. We figure worse case a rebuilt is $1000 and the best case is it runs fine. Engines only break if there are running when it takes on water. When it simply takes on water it needs the water cleaned and is good to go. We think they emptied the water out of this. Folks keep in mind the 3 axle (with brakes) trailer sells in a day for $4000.
