General Description Designed by the famous Group Finot, naval architects with more production yachts afloat than any other design firm; the Beneteau 423 has both brawn and beauty. A confident blue-water hull, combined with extraordinary comfort, gorgeous interior woodwork, loads of volume and plenty of light, will satisfy the most demanding sailors, whether it is for offshore sailing or cruising in the harbor.
Actual ConditionThis is the two cabin model with two heads and a large galley. It is reported the dining and settee are like new. There is lots of storage and large outdoor storage lockers.
It is also reported that the boat collided head on with a catamaran. Damage to the anchor locker, and boat was dismasted. The vessel will need repair to the anchor locker area, and a new mast and sails.
It appears that no water penetrated into the vessel. The boat has never been chartered, but was sailed in Canada, for 3 years (seasonal for 3 months each year). She was then sailed to the Caribbean for 5 years (only sailed during the winter season for 4 months) and kept in boat yard from May to January.

The Beneteau 423 has lovely lines, a fantastic sailing hull, a comfortable cockpit and well laid out interior. This 2 cabin, 2 head version is ideal for a family or for a couple with guests. The galley is spacious, but tucked away, the aft head readily accessible, close to the companionway. The salon and dinette are spacious and well lit and the interior woodwork is the Beneteau Cherry, which gives it a traditional feel. The cockpit is large and allows the crew to stretch out, or hang out. Side decks allow easy movement around the boat and the water is readily accessible from the swim platform, via the walk-through transom.
