I purchase Bonaroo back in 2012 for $120,000. I put lot's of money into her, of course she's a boat. But for the past 2 years she's been sitting on the hard with several projects only partially complete.
Lots of new extras not installed yet.
She has a new Main Sails. The headsail was re-worked by a very good sailmaker. I have brand new deck cushions still in the box for her, new plotter not yet installed. New water maker not installed. Added in new holding tanks, and new electric head up front. Changed all the through hulls. I had a professional electrician re-wire most of the boat. Max-prop, Under water camera system, $1000's of blocks etc. And unline the last owner, I will give you more than you can ever imagine and not remove everything before the delivery! All kinds of goodies!Here's the down side. She's been sitting in a yard for 2 years untouched. She's dirty and needs her wood sanded and varnished. She needs a couple of small projects completed. I do not have time to do anything to her. I just replaced the eisenglas on the dodger and bimini. new bottom job with MICRON 66, the absolute best bottom coating doubled up the coat so it should be good for several yrs.
you can eat off the engine compartment floor.... no joke. one of my best friends is a diesel mechanic and he has babied both the gen set and the propulsion engine.
