1975 Cabot Cutter The Cabot 36, designed by Ted Brewer, is a high quality offshore cutter built with an Airex-cored hull and deck by Cabotcraft Industries in Nova Scotia, Canada. “Cottonwood II” has been lovingly cared for by an experienced Canadian couple who have sailed the Atlantic extensively, and while doing so, implemented an extensive maintenance and repair program that included, but not limited to, the installation of a new (2010) Kubota diesel and transmission, new mainsail, a hard bimini with cockpit enclosure, new LPG stainless steel stove/oven, newhot water heater, and much more. Please don’t be discouraged by the age of “Cottonwood II”, she is very clean, exceptionally strong, and easy to maintain with a full fiberglass inner liner. As a Cabot 36 of Brewer design, “Cottonwood II” is easy to sail, stable, and provides a very comfortable motion in heavy seas while maintaing enough sail power to handle light air.  Currently, "Cottonwood II" is on the hard at Green Cove Springs Marina in Florida where she will receive a bottom job and deck paint before she is put in storage while her owners return to their home in Canada for a few months. This vessel can still be shown with advanced notice.proper advanced notice. A full spec sheet with a complete set of pictures will follow shortly.
