1978 Capital Yachts Newport,Purchased in 2009. I am selling this for a friend whose husband used to sail. He loved this boat. It displaces 6000 ibs and has 3 sails: a Genoa, Jib and Mainsail. The Genoa is orange. They called it, the BA Sail as in Big Ass! He was a business jet aviation pilot and loved the wind whether in the sky or in the sail! It has always been a fresh water boat. It's a great starter boat. Sleeps 5! Has an ice box, sink, great table for eating or planning, a roomy v-berth. Port-o-potty in bathroom with sink. Atomic 4 gasoline engine.
