The Farr 395 was Boat of the Year in 2002, designed to be a fun club racer with a One Design organization, to be competitive in handicap races, and to provide just-plain-fun sailing while cruising. She is a fast and lively sailing vessel...... Her owner has raced her very little, using TACHYCARDIA mostly for cruising the southern New England waters. With her deep fin keel, carbon fiber spar and carbon fiber retractable sprit, she is a good performer and will satisfy those who want a sharp sailing and lively platform for cruising and racing.
