1985 Catalina 30 Tall Rig-REPOWERED/WARRANTY Repowered with new Universal engine and ZF transmission under warranty until Dec 2017. All new interior cushions made May 2015! The Catalina 30 is a classic tall rig with excellent accommodations and EPSILON has a new Universal diesel engine which was placed into the boat in 2013.  In preparation for selling the boat the owner is replacing all interior cushions with a beautiful medium blue Sunbrella material and has taken the steps to touch up the interior woodwork and fabrics.  The interior teak cabinets have louvered doors and the sole is covered with a removable carpet. EPSILON will not disappoint you. Below is a carefully planned and amazingly spacious interior.  There are berths for seven, including the large aft double berth.  Forward is a comfortable double cabin, with shelving and a large overhead hatch.  Just aft is a generous sized head with molded shower pan.  The aft galley is easy to use with a top loading ice box and large double stainless steel sinks.  The galley is tucked away along the port side, away from traffic, yet open to the main salon for cruising conversation.  The navigation station is like those found on a much larger yacht, providing storage for charts and navigation equipment.  The electrical panel and space for added electronics are directly above the navigation station.  Storage space onboard the 30 is abundant and well planned.  All shelves in the cabin take teak sea rails to keep things in place.  Forward, opposite the head is a large hanging locker and chest of drawers.  Beneath all seats and berths are easily accessible compartments for gear and supplies.   An efficient fin keel and large spade rudder combined with a long horizontal skeg insure control and tracking ability under sail or power.  The deck provide security for the crew with molded-in nonskid, high cockpit coamings, double life lines and pulpits.  The anchor locker is recessed into the foredeck.   Sail the Catalina 30 and discover the unique blend of comfort and performance that make the Catalina 30 an outstanding boat.
