Overall, this Catalina is starting to show her age but has very good bones. Did not have the opportunity to view the sails but the rigging are starting to fray. The navigation station has been updated and all electronics appear to work. The boat could use a haulout and bottom paint.

2008 Catalina 250 MK II Water Ballast
This easy to handle family cruiser sails well in shallow waters with retracted keel draft 2'8" and when extended 5 feet. The waterballast keel is a unique feature when lifting or trailering the water is draining out and when sailing the water drains into tank and act like a full fledged keel. "Sweet Dream" has been on a boat lift with new bottom paint in 2016. There comes no trailer with it but the Mast is easily collapsable for road trailering. The riggin has been overhauled (2016) with new lines and a Lazy Jack for the main sail to fall into a newly established canvas with easy zipper. The Jib is a roller furler all handled from the cockpit. The cockpit is wide easy for 4 people to sit on cushion and with 2 addition seats at the rear on either side. The cabin is an easy layout a forward V berth and two single berth port and starboard and finally a double berth under the cockpit. A seperate head room with a port a potti and sink.
