1983 Hatteras 6v92 TA CURRENT PRICE IS A GUIDE. ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED. General Description A great boat for fishing and/or cruising...2 stateroom, galley down. Actual ConditionIt is reported that while underway that a fire originated in the area of the port engine turbo charger. The steel flange had failed and heat, smoke and soot entered the engine compartment. The heat ignited framing and melted wiring and insulation.There was extensive damage throughout the engine compartment, and soot and dried chemical powder throughout the interior of the vessel. The entire underside and framing of the salon sole area is charred. Both engines were running at the time of the fire and ingested soot and carbon residue, both from burning wood components and also recirculation of the exhaust. All hoses and wiring hoses were also melted. External components of the engine are damaged due to exposure to high heat and dry chem powder. Please inspect carefully before bidding. EquipmentA trailer is not included in this sale. EnginesThere is extensive wiring, both 12-volt and 120-volt AC, which is bundled and runs throughout the engine compartment.
