1974 Coronado 23 Masthead Sloop Coronado Yachts existed, during most of the years of it's operation, as an alternative brand to Columbia Yachts. Though it did have it's own independent origins as a company called Wesco, which began producing boats sometime around 1962. When Wesco ran out of money it was acquired by Frank Butler, who later founded Catalina Yachts. 1969 Coronado Sail, I have owned this boat 16 years, it is a great sailing boat. Raced in beer cans series, cruised with friends, sailed to coronado islands. Upgrading to bigger boat. Sails: Main, 110 Genoa, Engine: Mecuruy 4hp 4 strokeSleeps 5, but sleeps 3 really nice.Galley,ice box, sink, with large water tank, pump faucet, plenty of storage. compass, shore power, full navigation lights, 1 anchor with rode, dock lines, 2 fenders, roller furler, deep cell battery, AM/FM, CD stereo, Marine radio, spinnaker poleCabin: recently refinished, just nice to be in. Dining table lowers to become a double bed, really a nice place to sleep the children. $6500
