2000 Chaparral 300 Signature The signature 300 is mid tier family cruiser with a roomy cockpit and an upscale, very comfortable interior. Like many Chapparal cruisers, she's constructed on a modified-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom, moderate beam and an integral swim platform, with dinghy davitts. While the Signatures midcabin interior is similar to other 30 footers, the quality of the hardware, woodwork and upholstery is immediately evident--even now after 17yrs, this looks show room new, no evident wear. The roomy aft cabin, with its convertible settee and removable dinette table, is definitely the master stateroom in this boat with far more amenities than the forward berth, although that is large and roomy also. Lets not forget the full galley of refrig, `range`, micro, sink, Microwave, Stereo, Tv , air conditioning and more. Bunches of storage compartments and an enclosed, fiberglass head.The cockpit seat six and includes a double helm seat, a U-shaped settee aft, (which converts to a big sun pad), and a wet bar. The aft bench seat can be folded away to free up additional cockpit space and a gas -assist hatch provides easy access to the engine compartment. Speaking of the engine compartment, their is tons of extra room to work or add components, and a Fire Bouy auto discharge is in bilge. Additional features include a transom shower, walk thru windshield, cockpit lighting and five opening cabin ports. This unit is equipped with plenty of power, will being fuel efficient also with twin counter rotating Alpha Mercruiser 5.0L/220hp (440hp total). This has been extremely well maintained service wise, and other than spring buff/ wax and drive algae cleaning-it needs nothing but a new home!!
