1984 C & C 27 Introduced in 1984, the C&C 27 Mark V set a new benchmark for well-built, performance oriented small sailboats. Sporting tall, keel-stepped masts with high-ratio mainsails that make the best out of light air, they are also remarkably roomy inside, with a large quarterberth, comfortable V-berth, and the accommodations you would expect from a much larger boat. The hull is solid glass, the rudder transom-hung and the keel is a fin with bulb. This fine 1987 model ticks all the right boxes, and then some: well equipped, with a reliable 8HP inboard Yanmar Diesel, a brand-new (2016) Raymarine autopilot, wheel steering and good electronics, it also has been carefully maintained, with bottom paint every year, a new lightweight racing rudder (2014), new shrouds and forestay (2015), with all work and winterizations done by Larsen Marine Service in Waukegan. The North main douses easily into lazy-jacks and the North 140 Genoa wraps around a Sea Furl drum. The boat comes with a nice spinnaker and all sails are in good condition. Disco is sold with a custom cradle; winter storage and spring launch are paid. She needs nothing but a destination. Available for your inspection at Larsen Marine in Waukegan.
1992 Pacific Seacraft Ericson 34 First launched in 1987, the Ericson 34 was designed by Bruce King and proved to be a very popular model among sailors looking for a rock-solid comfortable cruiser with an emphasis on performance. The yacht was built by Pacific Seacraft with the standards of quality that made Pacific Seacraft a leader in the industry for quality built boats. This shoal-draft, wing keeled model looks and feels like a much bigger boat, and has been well-kept over the years. A masthead sloop, she carries just under 600 square feet of sail; her generous yet safe cockpit allows for easy line handling with excellent visibility, and the four primary self-tailing winches are within reaching distance of the large wheel. Below, the two cabin layout works well, with a dedicated area for navigation and good ventilation throughout. The finish is excellent. The engine was replaced in 2002 with an easily accessible 30-HP Volvo. This capable little cruiser ticks all the right boxes and is ready for your inspection. Call today!
