1967 Derecktor Newporter 40, PRICED TO SELL!!' WAY UNDER MARKET!Great Livaboard!! Nice boat with traditional interior! Hull# 118, designed by Ned Akerman and built at the Derecktor Shipyard. This was a very successful design with 124 built, and are popular on both the East and West Coasts. Known for their comfortable and spacious accommodations and good sailing and handling, the Newporter 40s have cruised extensively. She was refitted in 1995 with an Isuzu diesel 100 HP engine and aluminum masts with schooner rigging. She has a large V-berth with an en suite hanging closet and sink with vanity. in the main salon she has a sofa that folds into a double berth, a teaksbury fireplace and custom cabinetry. Aft of that she has a full galley and head with separate shower stall. She has a pilot house with a settee that converts into a double berth, a Nav station with inside steering and instrumentation. Outside she has a manual helm and emergency tiller stowed. 6'4" head room throughout, broad beam for stability, space and comfort, she has lots of storage space for comfortable living on board, she has 3 water tanks holding a total of 530 gallons of water and the fuel tank holds 130 gallons for long passages.EquipmentEngine has only 254 hours and is an Isuzu fresh water cooled diesel with Borg-Warner transmission, electric windless with 300 feet of 3/8th chain with 65lb CQR anchor on one side and 400 feet of 1" yacht braid with a 50lb Danforth anchor on the other, both come up to rollers on the bowsprit. New fresh water pump, 2 bilge pumps, Garmin GPSMAP 3206/3210 & GPS 17- color chart plotter with GMR 18/24 Marine radar combination (radar overlays over chartplotter), Standard Horizon Depth-Sounder DS150, iCOM VHF Marine transceiver that is remote-control MIC compatible, Professional Mariner Newpro 20/35 3-bank 35 amp battery charger, VISIO 21" Flat Screen TV with a Shakespeare SeaWatch Marine TV antenna, Norpro full instrumentation with alarms with Morse throttle shift and hydraulic steering inside, Morse throttle shift and manual steering in the cockpit and emergency tiller stowed, 2 Barient 22s 2-speed wrenches aft, 2 Barient 10 wrenches on forward mast, many extras!
