The boat is in good shape but needs paint both top and bottom. The mainsail is functional, but had some paint or stain spilled on it and it needs replacement. The engine worked fine when it was hauled 8 years ago, but will need maintenance before starting, the owner confirms. The mast seal may need to be replaced. Stock #353395 EXPERIENCED BAHAMAS CRUISER! 1977 DICKERSON 36 SLOOP CRUISER, WESTERBEKE DIESEL INBOARD! This beautiful sailboat is in the process of being restored to its former glory. Most of the hard work has been finished, all that's left is to make it into the perfect boat for you! This sailboat is a full keel and sails very comfortably. This is a great cruising boat, even for the less experienced sailor. She has taken their owners to the Bahamas multiple times and up and down the east coast for over twenty years. She has a very unique wood-fired stove for winter living. This boat is very forgiving in bad weather. She cruises between 6 and 8 knots. Reason for selling is life changes.
