1977 Ericson 32-2, I'd like to introduce you to the 'Grey Finn'... a beautifully designed sailboat. Original 'bill of sale' and documents navigating her journey in 1977 out of California, through the Panama Canal, up the eastern seaboard, and finally settling back in to her current home at the docks of Isla Del Sol Yacht Club. A classic California sloop designed by the renowned Bruce King in 1977. A well respected vessel for both liveaboards and day users alike. Her bow berth will sleep 2 adults comfortably, with side lights and a hatch for comfort day and night alike. In the salon, a settee folds down to make a second berth, where two children or one adult will sleep comfortably. A third berth, appropriately named a coffin berth or quarter berth, is located on the port side, tucked under the pilot station. Sleeps 4 comfortably, and 5 in a pinch. Potential live aboard, smaller sized vessels have gone comfortably around the world, but if you're dreams are more realistic, this has been a VERY fun and enjoyable boat to own with my family. Surveyed in 2014, included in saleClean title, current registrationUSCG approved vessel, as inspected and given status March 2016Bottom needs paint, a haul out and paint job has been quoted at $1800.I'm not aware of the total engine hours, but consider that a new Yanmar diesel was installed since her first journey. This diesel has been serviced by Yacht Power out of St. Petersburg. Other repairs have been done by Brad Kadau, the owner of Paradise Yacht Service. The bottom has been cleaned once a month by Tropical Dive Service. A new bimini top was installed in 2015 with stainless steel tubing and sunbrella fabric.A new quarter berth cushion was made in 2016, using high comfort foam and sunbrella fabric.Air conditioning unit is included in the sale of this boat. It is a hatch mounted CruisAir model and easily runs off shore power or a generator if you have one aboard.A new septic system was installed in 2016.A new gas tank was installed in 2016.A new gas BBQ grill was installed in 2014.Over the time that we've owner her, I've detected small leaks from the deck, nothing major or more than a drip. I've done my best to keep up with these which tend to occur mostly at the stanchion mount. This, far more popular version, is conventionally referred to as ERICSON 32-2. It began production in 1969 and hull numbers 101 through 573 were built by 1978.
