The Ericson's interior features include a galley with sink, stovetop, oven, dinette table, cushioned bench seating, settee, a forward V-berth, aft berth and more. She also has two house batteries, charger, inverter and one starter battery, bilge pumps and all the electronics needed for you to set sail. 1986 Ericson 38-200 The Ericson 38-200 is a luxurious, high performance cruiser with thoroughbred lines. The rig is tall, for excellent speed in light to moderate winds. Aerodynamically superior spreaders also create a narrow shroud base which abets weatherly performance by favoring the sheeting angle. Mast, boom, winches, halyard systems, and standing and running rigging are configured for short crew sailing, and installed for keeps. The Ericson 38-200 Series locates the head and shower stall aft to allow for a slightly larger forward stateroom complete with two hanging lockers, storage compartments, vanity and seat. The owner's stateroom is positioned aft and features a large double berth, a door for complete privacy, hanging locker, vanity and plenty of storage. 1984 Ericson 38 The Ericson 38 is a well engineered design with excellent sailing characteristics. "Laiva" has benefited from knowledgeable owners who have kept her in excellent condition with constant upgrades over the years. The mast was pulled, painted, and new running and standing rigging installed in 2008. In 2015 the bottom was stripped, epoxy coated and painted and all underwater fittings are like new.
