The 2000 Fountain 29 Fever is said to be the kind of performance boat that can spoil the go-fast enthusiast. The single-step keel 23-degree deep-V bottom with its modified V-pad keel, notched transom, and four strakes provide excellent performance. Coupled with the MerCruiser 500 EFI engine you are ready to push the throttle forward and get your heart pumping!
The Fountain 29 Fever has Gaffrig gauges laid out around the steering wheel for clear and easy viewing. The gauges included fuel, engine temp, water pressure, tachometer, and depth.
There are mechanical indicators provided for the drive and tabs positions.
The cockpit housed a pair of bolster seats with power drop-downs at the helm and passenger area.
The passenger transom seating was deep with storage beneath the seat bench.
The aft sun pad, with its French-stitched checkered flag design, is also the engine hatch. The engine hatch opens electronically with the push of a button.
The cabin area contains a V-berth with a privacy curtain.
Just inside the cabin entry to the port is a built-in drainable cooler, a sink, and cabinet storage.
You'll also find the stereo head unit and light switches.
There is a settee located on the starboard side.

The engine is a custom built 588 CI naturally aspirated with brand new dart block and aluminum dart heads built by Progressive Racing Engines a little more than a year ago; (Dyno tested 700hp) with only 200hrs, 83+ MPH!

Custom Stainless Marine Gen 4 exhaust manifold, risers and tail pipes. Its pushing a Bravo One XR sports master gear case checked and resealed by Offshore Outdrives a year ago, spinning a 29 pitch Hydromotive 5 blade prop. The dash was completely redone less than a year ago, by Supreme Marine with red carbon fiber, all new Livorsi Marine gauges and controls, it's got Stainless Marine heads up display trim indicators, and brand new Garmin 741xs flush mounted to the dash, Fusion ud750 with built in Bluetooth and 4 X 6.5" speakers inside the cockpit. 1994 Fountain 29 Sportfish Cruiser IO
This boat is in near perfect condition. The owner has always taken great care of it. Owner has just put over $20,000.00 in a new motor and it really shows. Griffin Automotive and Marine INC installed the motor and all rigging and owner has all receipts to show. Griffin was the leading installer for Fountain and did all of Fountains HIGH Performance Motors. As you know fountain makes the fastest fishing boats. The large cockpit enables freedom of movement and has the space to accommodate four fishermen comfortably. You will have no problem hitting the water or cruising the waterway with this stunning work of art. The custom paint on the hull is in excellent condition. This boat is featured on the cover of the book "The Search for Molly Brown" written by Capt. Gardner Martin Kelly. The Fountain 29 Sportfish Cruiser is a light-weight, high-performance cuddy fisherman with fully-cored construction and an easy-riding deep V hull with a keel pad. With only 8'6" of beam, she's a narrow boat for her length with less cockpit than many of her competitors. The cockpit offers an unobstructed fishing platform with insulated fish box, livewell, undergunnel rod storage, washdowns, and transom storage boxes. A half tower with enclosure is standard. Below, the cuddy has a convertible V-berth/dinette, sink with pressure water, and icebox. The sterndrive version with 375 hp MerCruiser, will cruise at 30 knots and reach a top speed of 40+ knots.
This boat does come with an aluminum trailer and it is ready to hit the road.
