1992 Freedom Yachts 45 "Vintage Port" is a rare, aft cabin version of the Freedom 45. Freedom Yachts enjoys a well deserved reputation as one of the better production boat builders in the world. This is particularly true of the Freedom sailing yachts built from about 1992 on. During that period, new ownership moved Freedom to a new location and noticably upgraded the fit, finish, and engineering and their sailboats came into a class of their own. The Freedom 45 aft cockpit model features a taller rig and more sail area than the center cockpit versions. "Vintage Port" has had many custom upgrades performed by her experienced second owner who has sailed her on the Chesapeake Bay for 16 years.
