Comments below are from Steve Corkery, who managed the last sale of AIDA: The classic wooden boat field is small and most everyone involved with these boats knows or at least is knowledgeable about every one else. When AIDA was sold the fact that the owner, seller, restorer, broker, and sail maker all had known each other, worked together, and mostly sailed together before was really fortunate. When and if you have this combination in your dealings you are one lucky person. This is what I had when AIDA was last sold.. Now add to that one of N.G. Herreshoff's nicest sailing shoal draft boats ever designed and built, and you have a true historic masterpiece. This is AIDA, nothing more has to be said.
