1979 Herreshoff sloop This exquisite 16 meter was built in Whangarei, New Zealand by Alan Orams (Seaglass Marine) from the vaunted Herreshoff designs. One of 16 sisterships, Ethereal is immaculate, inside & out. She was delivered to the original owner as an empty hull in 1975. He was a professional finish joiner, and the interior shows the love that he put into it over a 3 year period. She was finally launched the first time in 1979. She is in like-new condition and ready for your global circumnavigations. The boat has been continuously maintained, with recent paint, interior varnish, upholstery, engine cooling & exhaust, batteries, chain and rigging, including a new furler, self-tacking staysail track and powerful Anderson winches.
