The boat has had many new parts installed. Some cosmetic work is required from the new owner to make it perfect. A newer Honda outboard, Yanmar diesel motor is in great condition. Entering the main salon, the galley is to port with a nav station on starboard. Just forward of the galley is the large salon and the settee opposite to starboard. The table folds down to maximize the space but when it is meal time it is large enough to accommodate the whole crew. The galley has a double sink, a gimbaled two-burner stove, and a microwave oven. There is also an entrance to the master stateroom from the galley. Forward, the V-berth is large and comfortable with plenty of storage and has its own freshwater sink. The owner's stateroom is aft and offers a center line bed (rare for any aft cockpit sailboat). It can be entered via the galley or head and offers a standing headroom of up to 6' 2". There are two hanging lockers and ample storage compartments. The head is to starboard and includes an onboard shower. Engine access and maintenance for easy and quick. Both the forward and aft engine compartment covers are removable in seconds and access is also available from each side. When not under sail the boat is powered by a Yanmar 3HM35F 30 HP diesel pushing a Kanzaki Hurth transmission. This 1987 Hunter Legend 37 is the perfect home on the water. The main salon is open and airy due to the skylights and the large portlights. The huge private aft stateroom offers an island double berth so there's no crawling over one another to get to bed. Guests can stay in the forward V berth and there's a sink in there for freshening up. The galley allows for cooking meals which can be enjoyed at the large folding dinette table that seats 6. The sail inventory includes an older genoa on an in-deck roller furler, and a newer main. There is also a spinnaker but its condition is unknown. It is unknown when the standing rigging was replaced but it is serviceable and most of the running rigging is relatively new. The ground tackle includes a Delta 35 lb on 170' of 5/16th chain and 150' of 5.ths rode. There is also a spare Delta modifier 40 lb on 50' 3/8 chain and 135' of 5/8th" rode. The current owner purchased it just before COVID began and was never able to get back in the US (from Canada) to sail her. The exact sail inventory is unknown. 1982 Hunter 37 Cherubini This is a functioning sailing vessel currently used for day cruising.  Classic, well-built Cherubini Hunter Cutter rig. Sturdy, capable coastal cruiser with two private cabins and plenty of rich teak below deck. USCG Documented vessel. Well thought out interior design with lots of storage throughout perfect live-aboard. Forward V-berth, Aft pilot berth with pocket door. Main stateroom with insert for sleeping 3. Sleeps 5-6 comfortably with 6ft clearance for taller crew. Roomy head and separate shower. Through-hulls, new propeller and stuffing box replaced in 2011.New diesel injectors, thermostat, zink fresh/sea water pump and engine mounting block replaced in 2011. 100gal freshwater via two 50g tanks stowed beneath port and starboard settees in main stateroom. A 75g fuel tank is located under pilot berth with gauge, access as needed. Fuel tank cleaned in 2012. 2016 Marlow-Hunter 37 The New Marlow-Hunter 37 is a stunning cruiser that is larger than any of her competitors and by far the largest volume sailboat on the market under 40 feet . The updated window line gives this yacht a sleek feel, but the improvements don’t end there. The Glenn Henderson hull design still reflects the bow hollow and stern reflex but the design has been improved upon with a hard hull chine featuring a wider beam carried further aft which allows for more space below as well as stability and performance on the water. The deck features a sleek, modern profile with large side windows allowing for increased interior light. The deck hatches are flush-mount, offering an enhanced look that complements the new profile. Lengthening the cockpit has allowed the MH37 to have a cockpit that is roomier and the fold down cockpit table allows the crew to take advantage of more cockpit space. The cockpit of the MH37 also features a fold-down swim platform that extends the already lengthy cockpit another four feet when folded down while the boat is docked or at anchor.
