1982 Hunter 37 Cherubini
This is a functioning sailing vessel currently used for day cruising. Classic, well-built Cherubini Hunter Cutter rig. Sturdy, capable coastal cruiser with two private cabins and plenty of rich teak below deck. USCG Documented vessel. Well thought out interior design with lots of storage throughout perfect live-aboard. Forward V-berth, Aft pilot berth with pocket door. Main stateroom with insert for sleeping 3. Sleeps 5-6 comfortably with 6ft clearance for taller crew. Roomy head and separate shower. Through-hulls, new propeller and stuffing box replaced in 2011.New diesel injectors, thermostat, zink fresh/sea water pump and engine mounting block replaced in 2011. 100gal freshwater via two 50g tanks stowed beneath port and starboard settees in main stateroom. A 75g fuel tank is located under pilot berth with gauge, access as needed. Fuel tank cleaned in 2012. Galley large and functional with Hillerange marine stove and dual basin stainless sink, one faucets pressurized freshwater. Sails include mainsails 150% rollerfurling genoa, 100% rollerfurling genoa, and one staysail for cutter rig. Harken MKII rollerfurling unit is strong and dependable.On deck, Sunbrella dodger, bimini, mainsail cover. Classic stainless Edson wheel pedestal and stainless pedestal guard. Teak cockpit table and beverage holder. NavPod for engine gauges, old Garmin GPS. No working instruments. New depth and speed transducers. Engine Yanmar 3QM30, FW cooled with plenty of power when needed. Original 1900 hours. Easy access for maintenance. Engine service manual included.New sound proof insulation. CQR and Dunfor anchors with chain and rope. New 2D batteries in July 2011. Promarine battery charger. Deck non-skid painted in 2011, fresh quart of Interlux Interdeck included for a new coat! Cockpit teak sanded and new calking in 2016. Fresh bottom paint June 2016.

Of all the boats that John Cherubini designed while at Hunter Marine, the 37' cutter has been the most successful . This Cherubini design is the perfect boat, for a young family with it's private aft stateroom and head with a separate shower stall.
Roomy V-berth is forward . Aft is the private stateroom. Forward head has separate vanity and sink .Stationary dinette sits four adults.
