There are several unique construction components for this boat, separating it from most boats of this vintage. One of the most significant are the port and starboard 16-foot iron benches that provide strength and prevent hogging. Owner who is an experienced vintage boat restorer says there is zero hog on this boat. The laminated spruce mast was refurbished with the scarfs opened and new epoxy applied, then re-stepped and reported to be more waterproof than it has ever been. The teak decks appear to be in very good condition, recently refurbished and sealed. The brightwork is also in very good condition, and the hull is shiny and bright following the restoration and refinishing. Everything was reportedly taken down the the bones and refurbished with professional care. New head on engine reported to be installed on last trans Pacific cruise. Injectors cleaned and replaced 10 years ago. Engine runs strong. GMC service manual is included. Stock #253674 Beautiful completely restored 1946 Ed Monk 65! Ready to sail! This Owner built/owner maintained vessel is very clean and organized. Haul out and repaint bottom is due, however, there is good paint on the deck.. Every fitting re-bedded this 4 yrs ago year, and all rigging appears in very good condition. Dinghy is on davit in back, and appears great condition. It is important to note that this vessel was built by the seller over an 11 year period. The seller is a systems engineer, and it has been built beyond minimum specs, and built to travel the world. However, it does not have the fit and finish of a factory manufactured boat. As of June 2021, the Seller recommends bottom paint in the next 6-8 months. It also will need top paint anywhere from now to 1 year from now. Stock #182236 Blue water solid 40 foot Cutter that takes your breath away! Update, The hull material IS fiberglass, and I quote the builder "Single Skin FG Hull, with 2-inch stiffeners and 2 inches of insulation between waterline and deck" Also, the mast height is 57' from waterline to top. Perfect liveaboard and the ultimate cruiser have just gone up for sale, and YOU could own it. Priced to sell, the value quotient is off the chart! As previously mentioned this boat has been on the hard for some time. Although all mechanical and operational systems were functioning as intended when placed on the hard the current operational status should be evaluated. This vessel appears to have been well cared for. Stock #221755 ***SALE PENDING*** Rare Find!! New Sails!! 62HP Westerbeke Diesel!! Shoal Draft!! According to the owner, there were only 40 of this "walkthrough" configuration CSYs built..this is hull #3. This 1980 CSY Walkthrough 44 has an impressive pedigree as an extremely capable bluewater sailing machine. This boat has been on the hard for about four years. Please note that the first 20 pics or so show the boat when it was last in the water and being used. The last 100 pics or so show the boat in its current "on the hard" condition. The CSY 44 Walk-Throughs are sought after boats, mainly because of their walk-through configuration. This design provides a below-decks walkway from the main salon to the aft master stateroom. It has a comfortable, conventional cockpit with ample room for guest visiting. There are two longitudinal bench seats long enough for sleeping and an ample bench seat aft of the central binnacle. As opposed to the Walk-Over design, this configuration includes a stand-up engine room with a workbench and a main cabin navigation station/table to port. The galley is to starboard and includes a side-loading refrigerator/freezer in the passageway leading aft to the main cabin. The aft section of the main cabin coach roof is raised, adding headroom below and increasing visibility through four large windows. The boat is outfitted with a large fiberglass box on the stern deck suitable for fuel and gas storage. When not under sail the boat is powered by a 62HP Westerbeke diesel (2120 hrs) with a Borg Warner transmission pushing a new Walther V-drive. Navigational equipment includes a Garmin 5212 GPS/plotter, Garmin 18HD radar, Garmin GWN-10 Anemometerer, 2 GMI-10 displays, Raymarine Smart Pilot X30 autopilot with a Raymarine ST7002 pilot head, a Raymarine 7002 long stroke actuator, and a custom made autopilot arm w/keyway. Solar power is provided by 3 Samsung 241 watt 24-volt panels managed by an Outback Flex 60 solar controller. Sail inventory includes a new JSI roller furler sail, a new JSI 150% genny, and a new JSI main. Old sails are included as emergency spares. Also, the main boom was recently rebuilt by JSI. PLEASE NOTE The information provided by this seller regarding equipment, parts, and systems far exceeds our ability to list in this narrative. For a complete copy of the supplied list please ask your broker for a copy of the owner-supplied list in the listing DOCS file. Reason for selling is death in family.

Very clean and well taken care of. No apparent major scratches or defects on any of the fiberglass areas. Exterior teak needs teak oil. The cabin teak is in good shape and with luster. All mechanical items are free from defects as stated by the owner and are not needing repairs as far as he knows. Stock #142387 Cutter ketch, Yanmar 140, Kohler 8kw generator, furling main, mizzen, headsail. Never had teak deck. This very well-cared-for Mason 53 is ready to go on a sea adventure! Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Its master stateroom has an extra berth for your little ones or guest and bunks on starboard and port amidship. The Mason can sleep 10 comfortably with dinette and sofa as well. Onboard is a well-appointed galley and there is a washer/dryer combo in the center head. There are three heads in all. For navigation, the newer electronics suite is in the open helm. Lots of deck space is outside for your guests to sit and enjoy the views or have a meal with the included pop-up teak table. All riggings and sails are complete and included. Reason for selling is moving inland.
