This is one of the most solid and attractive boats for sale in the islands, especially for this price! Don't let this stunning beauty pass you by! Please inquire for a FREE Boat History Report - it's perfect. Known issues are: -- The dodger is in poor to fair condition with some tears. The front panel will need to be repaired or replaced but otherwise, it's serviceable. If a new owner chooses to replace it, the "template" is in place to be able to do this. -- There are some soft spots on the interior starboard side bulkhead. These are from previous rail seal leaks. All fiberglass on the exterior is still solid but the interior bulkheads will need to be replaced and the leaks re-glassed. An estimate to complete this work has been received for $2-3k depending on if a new buyer would assist with the work or not. -- The compressor for the icebox is not working. It can still be used as an insulated cooler for ice, food and drinks, though. -- Two instruments on the cockpit panel are not working. The dinette cushion cover material is quite faded and possibly not to everyone's taste but is perfectly serviceable. This vessel is very bright and airy with several overhead hatches and portholes. Although there are no musty smells, she could benefit from a nice overall cleaning. +++ Please note, due to the location, no haul-out survey is possible for this boat. An in-water survey, hull inspection (dive), engine inspection and water trial are all possible. +++ Stock #208121 ***SALE PENDING*** WOW!!! Teak Everywhere! Tons of Character! A Truly Stunning Vessel!!! This 36' Union Polaris Cutter is a TRUE BEAUTY! She is a blue water cruiser which will provide LOTS of memorable days on the water for you and your family or friends. This is one of those boats with true character which everyone should get the opportunity to sail aboard in their lives! As is evident from the photos and videos, this solid, classic vessel has been well-loved, well maintained and is in good condition for her age and usage. Based on a Hans Christian design by Robert H. Perry, this vessel was built in Taiwan with custom master craftsmanship throughout. The most recent in-water survey determined her value at $40k in October 2020. Prior to that a haul-out and professional inspection was carried out in 2017. At that time, a complete bottom job was carried out and new cutlass bearings installed. Since then the bottom has been professionally cleaned and checked every two months. Ongoing preventative maintenance (oil change, new belt, etc.) was recently completed. In 2012, a new Yanmar 50HP diesel was installed which still has very low hours. There is no documentation on the engine replacement. Please see the video of the engine starting and running. It's shiny and purrs! There is no hour meter hooked up to the newer engine but the hours are 360. She can comfortably sleep seven people in a private v-berth cabin, jumbo double quarter berth, dinette conversion and single salon bunk. She will make a wonderful liveaboard for a couple or single person but is probably not suitable for a family. The unique enclosed head room has a new Jabsco marine toilet, 11-gallon hot water heater for the shower, sink and mirror. The door configuration allows for the shower room to be separated from the salon and cabin, extending into the gangway and doubling in size. Recent Upgrades Include: -Fuel & tank cleaned/polished in 2019 -Brand new head installed with new hoses -New batteries and ProMariner battery tender/charger All teak below deck is in very nice condition. The teak above deck is also beautiful but could benefit from some attention. Both teak and fiberglass parts of the deck appear to be solid with no soft spots. She was sailed from Kauai to Oahu in 2017 and was sailed regularly around the windward side of Oahu until the end of 2020 when her owner got deployed. I have had the pleasure of being aboard her underway and she is a very solid sailer for Hawaiian waters yet quite swift, even in light winds. The sails are in average condition. The sail covers appear to be in good to above average condition. This is a USCG registered vessel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From the original brochure - which is currently onboard and can be viewed: "A Perfect Balance of Beauty and Function -- Gracefully Formed and Well Proportioned -- Properly Installed and Tastefully Done ... A unique blend of Asian craftsmanship and new world technology to produce the finest cruising yacht you can acquire." Reason for selling is being stationed to europe.

The visiting broker felt the boat could use a good cleaning and straighten up. The seller had a Capt. preparing the vessel for a trip from Charleston to NC. The vessel was jsut moved from Charleston to Oriental, NC. That is the location of this vessel. The deck felt solid and there was not noticeable soft spots. Stock #223696 Well Kept Irwin 37 Center Cockpit, Ready to Cruise! The Irwin 37 is considered a handy boat to sail. The side decks are wide, the rail rises to a low bulwark forward to give a sense of security and the cockpit coaming has an opening to starboard but is low enough to climb out of anywhere. The bowsprit is designed to carry a 30 lb plow anchor housed in a roller chock. The interior offers space and layout is more seen in this model than performance is. Livability is a good term to describe the design. The Irwin 37 is a coastal cruiser for two couples or a family of four. The vessel has a very practical aft cabin layout seen on a sailing vessel under 40ft. The layout has remained essentially unchanged since the 37 was introduced and features a spacious aft cabin, a step-down galley, a more-than-adequate walk-through passageway, and a forward cabin that should not make its occupants feel like they are in steerage. Reason for selling is looking to move to larger vessel.

As previously mentioned this boat has been on the hard for some time. Although all mechanical and operational systems were functioning as intended when placed on the hard the current operational status should be evaluated. This vessel appears to have been well cared for. Stock #221755 Rare Find!! New Sails!! 62HP Westerbeke Diesel!! Shoal Draft!! According to the owner, there were only 40 of this "walkthrough" configuration CSYs built..this is hull #3. This 1980 CSY Walkthrough 44 has an impressive pedigree as an extremely capable bluewater sailing machine. This boat has been on the hard for about four years. Please note that the first 20 pics or so show the boat when it was last in the water and being used. The last 100 pics or so show the boat in its current "on the hard" condition. The CSY 44 Walk-Throughs are sought after boats, mainly because of their walk-through configuration. This design provides a below-decks walkway from the main salon to the aft master stateroom. It has a comfortable, conventional cockpit with ample room for guest visiting. There are two longitudinal bench seats long enough for sleeping and an ample bench seat aft of the central binnacle. As opposed to the Walk-Over design, this configuration includes a stand-up engine room with a workbench and a main cabin navigation station/table to port. The galley is to starboard and includes a side-loading refrigerator/freezer in the passageway leading aft to the main cabin. The aft section of the main cabin coach roof is raised, adding headroom below and increasing visibility through four large windows. The boat is outfitted with a large fiberglass box on the stern deck suitable for fuel and gas storage. When not under sail the boat is powered by a 62HP Westerbeke diesel (2120 hrs) with a Borg Warner transmission pushing a new Walther V-drive. Navigational equipment includes a Garmin 5212 GPS/plotter, Garmin 18HD radar, Garmin GWN-10 Anemometerer, 2 GMI-10 displays, Raymarine Smart Pilot X30 autopilot with a Raymarine ST7002 pilot head, a Raymarine 7002 long stroke actuator, and a custom made autopilot arm w/keyway. Solar power is provided by 3 Samsung 241 watt 24-volt panels managed by an Outback Flex 60 solar controller. Sail inventory includes a new JSI roller furler sail, a new JSI 150% genny, and a new JSI main. Old sails are included as emergency spares. Also, the main boom was recently rebuilt by JSI. PLEASE NOTE The information provided by this seller regarding equipment, parts, and systems far exceeds our ability to list in this narrative. For a complete copy of the supplied list please ask your broker for a copy of the owner-supplied list in the listing DOCS file. Reason for selling is death in family.

The last season in the water was 2018, boat winterized and wrapped since, overall this boat is in very good, original condition for the age, despite some areas with gel coat mico-cracks or small chips here and there, percussion sounding revealed no indication of significant moisture or delamination, the exterior brightwork is of excellent finish and the interior wood and cabinetry is in phenomenal condition. Stock #221587 36' Cutter teak with varnish, updated UK Main & new main sail cover, newer bimini/dodger & connector w/side curtains! The Cape Dory 36 is a proven Carl Alberg design with countless ocean miles logged, including circumnavigations, very well-engineered, and built with quality fittings. This boat is built strong with a heavy rig in cutter configuration which emphasizes offshore work, though for coastal cruisers these boats are known for being nimble and easy to sail, with a shallow five-foot draft which makes for great bay hopping. Construction is top-notch throughout and with excellent interior joiner work, the level of finish is exceptional. and the interior plan is straightforward and functional. Stepping down below through the main cabin hatch you find yourself in the galley, with two large sinks and a three-burner, gimbaled stove/oven to port with the icebox in the aft section of counter. The nav station and quarter berth are opposite the galley to starboard. The saloon includes opposing straight settees, the port side sliding out to an expanded berth, with a very large double-leaf table amidships that is able to span the gulf between them Continuing forward the head is to port with a hanging locker opposite. The V-berth cabin is spacious. There is storage in well-crafted drawers below the bunks, and the large overhead hatch and opening portlights help move the air around. Ventilation is excellent throughout the boat with plenty of opening bronze portlights. The current owner, only the second, has owned and loved this boat for 34 years and kept her in very good condition, the interior rather amazing for the age, not a leak or stain to be found, and the exterior not too far behind. It's always tough to assess boats that are wrapped up on the hard, but the more time you spend on this one the more you are impressed. Reason for selling is no more time for boating.
