This 1977 Cascade 36 has normal wear and tear for its age. It's typically sailed and fished during the summer and is now on the hard. It will then be splashed in June of 2023. The oil is changed every few months when used, and the seller has very many spare parts aboard to keep the boat moving if there's an issue. The Seller reports the sails to be in good condition and the bottom may need a new coat of paint. The Cascade has a new water pump, and new alternator. The seller also has spares for the water pump, alternator and even a spare transmission. Stock #304085 Set sail for new adventures aboard the Cascade 36 with Yanmar diesel power! Built in the Portland area, the Cascade 36 models are very much enjoyed by nearly everyone who has owned one. A very sturdy and well-built hull will handle most water you put her through, so if circumnavigation is your thing, a Cascade 36 might work for you. The Seller uses this Cascade to fish for Salmon in the season. If used for trolling, the sails cannot be deployed as the two back stays are removed. It only takes about an hour to reattach the stays and go fishing. The Fish holds can hold up to around 250 Salmon. This sail area is fairly large for this boat, so she'll attain 8 knots in a good breeze. Even with the slightly narrower 10-foot beam, this boat has a lot of room in the cabin, so your passengers will have plenty of room for everyone. There's a V-berth forward that will comfortably sleep two, the dinette and settee in the salon, and a quarter berth aft. The galley is simple and compact with a sink, stove/oven, and icebox. The head is located right behind the V-berth forward, so it's easily accessible to everyone. Up in the pilothouse section on deck, you'll find a comfortable captain's chair from which to steer via the tiller. The 27 HP Yanmar diesel easily moves the boat through the water and sips fuel while doing so. The seller uses the boat as a fishing vessel, so the electronics package includes GPS-plotter-radar, depth finder, and auto-pilot for convenience. With all lines running back to the pilothouse, the Cascade 36 is a great boat to single hand as well. This 1977 Cascade 36 has normal wear and tear for its age. It's typically sailed and fished during the summer. The oil is changed every few months when used, and the seller has very many spare parts aboard to keep the boat moving if there's an issue. The Seller reports the sails to be in good condition and the bottom may need a new coat of paint. The Cascade has a new water pump, and new alternator. 1970 Cascade 29 By Yacht Constructors 29' Cascade 29 '72 "Aquila" Aquila has been owned by the same family her entire life.  She has been cruised extensively (ten times from Portland to Alaska).  The present owner is a yacht maintenance professional so the boat is in every way in excellent mechanical condition.  An extensive update has left the on deck and mechanical portion of the boat in like new condition, the interior reflects years of use and with a bit of paint and decorating would complete the restoration.   So Aquila is a boat ready to set sail now and be completely usable while any below deck refurbishing can be undertaken as time allows.  The expensive projects are done, what remains are the finishing touches that would make this little gem a jewel that will reflect your own personal good taste.   She is being sold as the owner had purchased a larger vessel.  Additional Comments:   The Cascade 29 was among the earliest of fiberglass production sailboats built by Yacht Constructors of Portland Oregon.  The idea was to build a yacht capable of being legally towed over the highway yet large enough to be capable of extended offshore use.  The hull and deck were constructed of hand laid up fiberglass during a period that the material was relatively new.  The result was an exceptionally strong overbuilt structure that has proven itself out over hundreds of thousands sea miles.  The idea was to produce a basic hull and deck that could either be finished by the home builder or in some stage of completion at the factory.   Most were sold as hull and deck kits, so the interior layouts and materials between individual vessels vary quite a bit. There were several hundred built and they can be found in ports all over the world.  The perfect choice for someone with big plans and a limited budget.
