This Islander is in very good overall condition with serviceable sails, solid rigging, and a 20 HP diesel engine that runs great. The boat is dry inside with no leaks. She was inspected in March of 2023 along with getting minor hull repairs, new bottom paint, new cutlass bearing, and shaft stuffing. She needs some cosmetic attention such as new topside nonskid paint, refinishing of the topside wood trim, and cockpit teak deck. The inside is in good shape but ready for some upgrades to the new owner's liking. Stock #359748 Islander 36 Ready to Sail with Recent Bottom Pant, Cutlass Bearing, and Shaft Stuffing This 1972 Islander 36 is ready for a new Capitan. She has a lot to like if you are looking for a nice sized sloop with a large cockpit with room for 6 to sail comfortably. The boat needs to be sold, so bring all reasonable offers. The boat was valued by a professional surveyor at $23,000 in March of 2023. She is well outfitted with a Lazy Jack system for the main sail including a Stack Pack, a Schafer furling jib, a solid boom vang, a hydraulic backstay adjuster, stainless steel rod standing rigging, and with lines rigged for single-handed sailing. The helm is equipped with a stainless-steel wheel, compass, folding cockpit table, cup holders, and instruments including depth and speed indicators. Inside the cabin you will find a galley containing a stainless-steel sink with a new hand pump faucet, and a large ice box. The old gimble stove has been replaced with a refrigerator and microwave. The cabin sole has laid teak, and a settee on both port and starboard bulkheads with a retractable table next to the mast that creates a large living space when not in use. The starboard settee converts into two bunks. There is a quarter berth to port aft and a large V-berth rounds out sleeping capacity for 6 adults. The Islander is a popular model of sailboats between 1970 and 1987. They are highly sought after and the even have a club of owners. This one is ready for cruising the bay, taking overnight trips to your favorite location, or sailing up and down the coastal waters.

This Islander 36 was used as a live-aboard for a while. The seller reports it's a good boat with a strong motor. The bottom was painted around 2018. It's unknown what year the Westerbeke was installed. The owner indicates the keel bolts and mast footing were epoxied in for corrosion resistance. For drinking water, there's a tankless reverse osmosis system, and the head has a newer 9-gallon holding tank. The Nav system will need a new display for the wind speed, depth meter. With some TLC, this Islander 36 can be brought back to her original glory. Stock #338252 1974 Islander 36, a good boat with a Westerbeke 44a 4-cylinder diesel inboard. Whether you're looking for a weekender on the water or planning on doing more serious sailing, the Islander 36 is ready for your new adventures. With her large cockpit and roomy interior, you can invite your friends along. Her 4 berths make her capable of sleeping up to 6 people. Two in the V-berth, 2 in the fold-out berth to port, the settee to starboard and the quarter berth aft makes 6. If you do end up with a boat full of people, you can unfold and extend the salon table to accommodate a meal or cards for everybody. Or, folded away, she offers a lot of interior room. The enclosed head has a toilet and sink, and the galley is a nice place to prepare snacks with the 3-burner stove and refrigerator. Just in front of the aft quarter berth is the Nav station. The engine is the 40 HP Westerbeke diesel, which is plenty big for the job. It hasn't been used a lot. Mainly to get into and out of the slip. Her sails consist of the main and the rolling furler jib. The previous owner left a few more sails onboard and we're not sure exactly what they are.

The overall condition of this Islander appears to be very good with obvious attention paid to the woodwork. The sails are reported to be serviceable and the rigging as well. There is a 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke outboard motor that will get you in and out of the harbor with ease as well as a very reliable and economical mode of propulsion should the wind becomes calm. Stock #331809 Has a Tabernacle Folding Mast allowing it entrance to the Santa Cruz Upper Harbor This Islander is uniquely suited for the Santa Cruz Harbor as it has a Tabernacle Mast which means you can lower the mast on its pivot mounting structure in order to clear the bridge which would otherwise block entrance to the upper harbor. The boat has all the features of a 30-foot sailboat and some upgrades that the owner has installed such as a new Jabsco Toilet, updated cabin lighting and a charging port for your electronic devices. There is a V-Berth that will accommodate two adults comfortably and a full head in the forward cabin. There is a lot of room in the cabin with plenty of seating for guests. This is a perfect boat for coastal sailing and is perfectly located in the Santa Cruiz harbor. Reason for selling is wants a bigger boat..

1972 Islander Yachts 40' MS DAUNTLESS was designed by Charlie Davis as a serious blue water cruiser / live aboard. Built in Costa Mesa California this hull/model became the Islander freeport 41'. It has the same heavy duty / thick hull as the Islander Freeport 41'. She is ketch rigged with a center cockpit, full keel, wineglass hull. The center cockpit separates the full beam master suite with ensuite head and shower from the galley/salon and huge V-birth with giant closet and ensuite head. Which provides great privacy. This Coast Guard documented vessel has heavy duty construction throughout (most notably the super thick hand laid fiberglass hull). Think SAFE & STURDY ! The Dauntless has all new wiring and pluming and is solid Burmese Teak throughout, the person I bought this boat from 3 years ago paid $50,000.00 for her and put over $60,000.00 into up-grades and maintenance. With a 13'2" Beam, thereis plenty of living space, great storage and a very generous engine room with excellent access. I have been living on Her for the last few years and love to day-sail her around North Coronado and back. I can single hand her and fly four sails at once, this is knowledge that I would be happy to share with you over a couple of lessons. I just purchased a new much larger yacht and need to find a new home for DAUNTLESS. This boat needs cosmetic work like paint, varnish, cushions, curtains, etc. The guy I bought the boat from put most of his money into making sure the mechanical and operating systems were in good order at all times. If you are not handy with a paint brush you might not want this boat. For the person with basic skills I have priced the boat to move quickly. This boat in better condition would sell for $60,000 to $90,000. For all of you StarWars fans out there this yacht is like the Millennium Falcon, she's not much to look at but she has it where it counts. I have sailed all over the place and entertained countless friends on whale watching trips and parties at A-1 Anchorage, Glorietta Bay and quite dinners with that special someone to huge raft-up parities and everything in-between. This boat is designed to be safe and comfortable. All systems have been installed for simplicity, safety and durability. The Dauntless can handle gail-force winds with a reefed main and storm jib, Dauntless will take more punishment than most crew members. She needs some TLC so this is a tremendous opportunity to own a seriously built blue water sailboat that can take you anywhere in the world you desire in safety and comfort. She makes a fabulous live-aboard (witch I have been doing for the last few years). I AM GOING TO MISS DAUNTLESS BUT HOPE TO LEAVE HER IN THE HANDS OF AN ENTHUSIASTIC NEW OWNER!

1976 Islander 44 Silvergirl is a classic Bill Lapworth design that was launched in 1976 and is perfect for long weekends in Catalina or on an extended cruise.  This second owner has done many upgrades to the boat including a total rewire of all electrical including a new electrical panel, new inverter/charger, new LED interior lighting and batteries.  In 2008 the mast and standing rigging were overhauled and compliment an efficient 838 sq. ft. sail plan that features a Doyle Stakpac mainsail and a new roller furling 130% genoa that were added in 2015 which makes shorthanded sailing a breeze.  The Perkins diesel engine was extensively rebuilt in 2009 and currently shows approximately 449 hours. Silvergirl is set up for cruising and could be the perfect liveaboard with the addition of some nice interior touches.

Selling my 1973 Islander sailboat! The Islander 36 was listed as one of Cruising World's Top 20 Sailboats, and Zac Sunderland just sailed one around the world. Sailing Magazine described the Islander 36 as "well balanced under sail, stiff and surprisingly fast." There is a big owners association and website. This is a great boat I use to go to Catalina Island in year around. I have endlessly gone through this boat an have redone many of the systems. USCG Documented Vessel - All fees up to date (NO DMV!)If your looking for a great boat that is easy to handle, this is your boat. Watch the videos…Me and my girlfriend can sail this in all weather, single handed is no problem either, just watch out for the Great Whites…they get hungry! So much to list I can't remember it all! There is a survey available that was completed before I bought the boat a little over two years ago. Please ask questions. Here are some Video Links:youtu.be/XxDRhoCOAg8youtu.be/Mkg_nQ-uUvgyoutu.be/n_4v6sx1aUEyoutu.be/_FMT3ejzAHo All the electrical has been completely fixed. I used a IBEW low voltage electrician to all the electrical work. New wire throughout the boat. It has four deep cycle marine batteries that are about 1 year old now. The cabin lighting has been changed to LED and the spreader lights are also LED. This was a lot of money to upgrade. There is a VHF Marine radio installed and a HF Marine Radio that needs an antenna(was researching a way to use the rear stay as an antenna (Just haven't figured it out). There is a Sony stereo connected to four Bose 151 speakers inside. Two outdoor Bose speakers are connected to a external amplifier that gives out plenty of sound to have a fun time. 20 inch Flat screen installed on swing mount. There is a 6 gallon Raritan water heater that connects to the Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel and can also be used on 120V shore power that heats up nicely in a short time. There is an electric head less than 3 months old that dumps into a holding tank (Avalon Harbor Rules). This system works great and can also be dumped while underway. Front "V" birth padding was redone last year and is still virtually new. This boat has a gas stove and oven that both work perfectly that are connected to two 3 gallon propane tanks with all electric shut off controls. In the last year of cooking for many trips I have only used 3 gallons! The holding tank is 10 gallons. The water tanks combined are about 50 - (Never was able to measure them) The diesel tank holds 11 gallons. Foot pump for using the ocean water to rinse items in the sink. Shower in the head with hot water plumbed. The engine is a '88 Yanmar 3GM30 diesel. Well maintained, starts every time with no issues at all! The boat has a Maxwell windlass, 33 lb Bruce anchor, mast-mounted spinnaker pole, Harken Roller Furling Wheel steering and (auto pilot)Autohelm 4000. Any questions please let me know…

1969 Islander Sloop 34' Islander - This is a rare, well-designed vessel, capable of bluewater cruising. Her large cockpit and interior accommodations for 6 make it worth the effort.  The boat was re-rigged and upgraded for singlehanded racing and has sailed over 1000 miles since retrofitting in 2013.  The bottom was stripped/dried/barrier coated correctly for 1 month in 2010.  Lifelines were replaced with Dyneema and stanchions were re-bedded and backed correctly, along with essentially all the hardware on the boat.  Cascading vang, Cunningham, genoa car traveler, custom made traveler, #3 inboard tracks, cabin top halyard and control line terminations were added.  All spin gear was added.  All hatches were reinforced, replaced, and had blocking or retainers added so they remain closed and essentially watertight in the event of inversion.  Interior headliner was replaced in 2013.  Removable swim step included.  Jack line attachments with backing plates added.  Awlgrip paint in cockpit, and all hatches 2015. NEW Westerbeke 30B3 diesel repowered in 2002. Freshwater washout for the engine.  It has never had saltwater left in it since 2002. Slip available with marina management approval. Please call for an appointment to see the boat.
