1965 Laurent Giles Wander lll
If you ever wanted to own a boat with a pedigree, now is the time to pull the trigger. This boat was built in Bo'Nee, Scotland by J.W.DeWarr; she was designed by the noted British NA Laurent Giles. She was launched in 1965, as an expanded Wander lll, a design made famous by circumnavigation Eric and Susan Hiscock. Current owner has lovingly cared for her after the passing of her husband. His passing stalled the restoration ,until a suitable buyer could be found to lovingly complete that job.
The interior is completely intact, but not installed, giving a buyer an unprecedented opportunity to completely inspect the vessel. Interior components can also be inspected before reinstalling.
The main power plant is the venerable Perkins 4-108, it is installed on the bed, but would need connect to 12V, water, and fuel, also she has very little use.
Owner is looking for a knowledgeable mariner to complete the restoration started by her husband ,this is indeed a special boat.
