1980 Peterson Sloop
A racer/cruiser designed by Doug Peterson. The boat has been continually kept up and improved. A new diesel engine was installed in 2008. It is a three cylinder vetus/mitsubishi with 27hp. This is a vast improvement over the Atomic 4 gasoline engine that came with the boat. There is a double berth in the forward cabin, a double quarter berth aft, and three single berths in the main cabin. There is a deep stainless steel sink in the galley and a large insulated ice box. There are foot pumps for the water in the galley and the head. The boat sails well to a phrf rating of 129. We have won the Molokai return race of Kaneohe Yacht Club the last two years.
1974 Peterson Diesel Powered Sloop
