This 1980 Post 46 Sportfisherman is the perfect combination of the penultimate fishing vessel and a perfect liveaboard. It is known for its great construction and versatility. The deck is equipped with two fish boxes, a bait well, and a tackle center. There is also plenty of rod storage. It features a generous beam so that there is plenty of room to accommodate you and your buddies on your fishing excursions. After a full day of fishing, relax in the spacious salon. If you are ready to cook up the catch of the day, there is plenty of room in the galley down and the dinette is adjacent. It features two staterooms and two heads. It will easily sleep 8 adults. The boat is clearly advertised as a project boat needing work. This boat should only be considered by someone who can do most of the work themselves. The boat has potential, but all systems should be checked for functions or replacement. The engines run, but look like they are in dire need for some work. The salon looks like a well worn charter boat with plenty of stories. The cabins are used for rough storage and should be gutted. The galley does not look functional except for storage. The boat has fished the South Florida waters for decades and is in need of a new owner to get her back to her glory. The seller is retiring from fishing, however, he has been taking a few trips a month with the boat in its current condition. There are certainly a lot of cosmetic issues and the port engine runs, but overheats, however, the fish do not seem to mind when you are bringing them on the deck. The classic boat has massive outriggers, a huge on deck live well, a fighting chair, and heavy-duty rod holders. Feel free to climb to the top of the tower for the best spotting. The upper controls are not functional. The boat was recently hauled out and bottom painted. The boat is currently insured for charters. Both engines fire right up and seem to run smoothly. The port engine will overheat after running for a while. The captain has been running on one engine and fires up the port engine for maneuvering. The captain has faith in the boat and may deliver locally. The bridge is fully functional and has a VHF and sonar. The exterior is still presentable, however the cabin could use a complete restoration. The engine compartment is in need of some cleaning and attention. Reason for selling is no longer using.

This boat shows well and pride of ownership is seen throughout all canvas and isinglass, have been replaced last year,Seadek has been installed throughout the cockpit on the bridge and the salon as well. This battle wagon is rigged with a fighting chair and enough rod storage to outfit any fishing excursion. On deck, you will find two in floor fish boxes, a 30 gallon Bait well, tackle center, full set of controls and a tuna door. Her wide 15'9" beam will not ship any water when backing down on the big one. On the foredeck, you'll find a winch to launch a tender. In the cabin, you will find a salon with a sofa on the port side and twin reclining chairs on the starboard side. The is a wet bar and storage throughout, with a LED TV that doubles as a lower station for all of the electronics, including close circuit cameras. Below decks, you will find a pair of Detroit 671 TI diesel motors that move this boat along at 25 knots. 1988 Post Marine Convertible (LOCATION: Key West FL) The Post 46 Sport Fisherman is a big, brawny, fishing machine with great styling, outstanding accommodations, and exceptional performance. Lethal Weapon has been a successful charter proving the value of the 46 SF. The flybridge features hardtop, center-line helm station, twin helm chairs, and guest seating forward and to port. The helm features a full complement of electronics including: Garmin 2010C color GPS, Simrad RA12 radar, Simrad AP20 autopilot, Furuno FCV-582L sounder,Depth finder, Sound system, and Icom VHF radio. The bridge is equipped with outriggers, rocket launchers, and spreader lights. The large cockpit gives you more than enough workspace, and includes prep station with fighting chair, sink, livewell, tackle locker, fish boxes, transom door, saltwater wash down, and a cockpit freezer. The foredeck includes stainless steel bow rail and bow pulpit with roller, anchor and windlass. Thirty thousand dollars worth of fishing tackle and chair included. She comes with big game fish permits and Dry Tortuga National Park overnight permit. The interior is large, open, and comfortable. The roomy salon has port side sofa with coffee table.
