1934 Eldredge-McInnis Sloop Currently stored inside at Mason's Island Marina, Mystic, Connecticut. A handsome, well proportioned sloop designed by Eldredge-McInnis Inc. of Boston, and built by L.I. Snow, Rockland Maine in 1934. Easy to handle and the perfect day sailer or coastal cruiser for two or three crew. Miwarawa has been meticulously upgraded, maintained and owned by present owner since 1973. Substantial rebuild from 1998-2003 at Riverside Boat Yard, Newcastle, Maine. 25 HP Universal diesel (2003). Main and jib sails. Oak keel, stem, framing, floors and deck beams. Cedar planking fastened with Everdur silicon-bronze screws.  Miwarawa differs with positive outcome in both sailing ability and stability from most if not all 26 Eldredge-McInnis sloops in having a three foot bow sprit and a lead keel (with bronze keel bolts). Also a quarter berth on the port side was added yet interior joinery (pine with mahogany trim) has been retained. Has fresh paint topsides. Sitka spruce spars also varnished this season.

1977 Herreshoff Meadowlark Located in West Mystic, Connecticut, Red Wing is an exceptional example of the inimitable (inspired by and originally designed by L. Francis Herreshoff)  37’ Meadow Lark, that was re-designed and built by Alan Vaites at New England Boat Builders. With a two foot draft with leeboards up, the Meadow Lark is able to sail the shallow waters not accessible by the ordinary sailboat. Built with a strong robust construction. Intended to rest upon her bottom when the tide recedes, the Meadow Lark has a swinging rudder which will fold backwards when hitting the bottom. Ideal for the Bahamas and Florida Keys and equally at home gunkholing in New England. Comfortably sleeps five. The rig and sail plan lets the Meadow Lark to carry full sail in a breeze, or may be readily shortened by one sailor. Sails well and with sails in appropriate configuration, fine balance. Red Wing has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by her two owners. Painted custom crafted white oak davits (2009), dripless shaft coupling (2011), significant sized solar panel on main cabin top. Main, Mizzen and jib (North Sails, 2004). The 20 HP Kubota Phasor diesel engine was installed in 2000, with new mounts 2005. Red Wing has fresh painted bottom and topsides and is presented in sail away condition at her dock in West Mystic.
