2005 Silverton 48 Convertible Manufacturer Provided Description The Silverton 48 Convertible hull lines, drawn by Donald Blount & Associates, have been designed to handle the rigors of the Atlantic Ocean, in which Silverton water-tests their boats. With a sharp entry and wide beam, the 48 will perform safely and comfortably in most sea conditions. Modern styling combines with safety and utility topsides. A wide, molded stairway leads from the expansive cockpit to the command bridge, making access safe and easy, even in a seaway. 2005 Silverton 48 CONVERTIBLE, IT would be unfair to compare this 48'/50' Silverton with any other on the market. It is a one (meticulous) owner, 100% fresh water Flagship Silverton. In addition to the ritualistic service, the only thing on the boat that needed attention or updating was the bridge canvas. The owner, at no expense spared, put in a new bridge enclosure and used the best materials, Stamoid Canvas and Strata Glass Isinglass with a polycarbonate center.
