1974 Coronado 23 Masthead Sloop Coronado Yachts existed, during most of the years of it's operation, as an alternative brand to Columbia Yachts. Though it did have it's own independent origins as a company called Wesco, which began producing boats sometime around 1962. When Wesco ran out of money it was acquired by Frank Butler, who later founded Catalina Yachts. 1983 Catalina C25 The Catalina 25 is truly an American classic and one of the most popular mid-sized sloops on the water today. Beginning in 1978, Catalina produced the C25 all the way through 1994. It’s a spacious, user-friendly family cruiser that could very well also be a weekend racer. This particular Cat 25 is configured as the tall rig, shoal draft. The Catalina 25 has a shallow but comfortable cockpit. Steering is controlled by the tiller and stern-mounted deep rudder. The companionway is wide which makes stepping below a breeze, which is not always the case in small boats. Once below decks, you’ll find the interior is very spacious and user-friendly. The layout includes a V-berth forward followed by an enclosed head with port-a-potty. The saloon has two opposite settees and the galley is aft to port with a comfortable quarter berths aft to starboard, tucked beneath the cockpit; total sleeping accommodations for up to five. Power is supplied by the 8hp Sailmaster outbord motor. The Catalina 25 didn’t become one of the most popular boats ever built without good reason. 1993 Beneteau 352 Foxy Lady is a cruiser with all the features Beneteau is known for. She is very maneuverable under power or sail, but equipped with the sailing couple in mind. The Dutchman mainsail with Harkin Battcar system makes raising the mainsail easy, but more importantly, reefing or striking the main can be done quickly and safely. Mainsail can't jamb in a strong wind like in a mast furling. Genoa sail has standard roller furling. All control lines lead to cockpit through a neat row of clutches. The large wheel makes steering easy and you always have autohelm available. Nine crystal clear opening ports and four hatches (screens included) plus lexan skylights provide a bright and comfortable interior with no compromise in the vessel's seagoing integrity. A large bright midships head with shower stall, two comfortable sleeping cabins, nice galley with two burner stove and oven, a d/c cooled refrigerator chest with freezer compartment, and a roomy dinette make for very comfortable accommodations. Foxy Lady's dodger and bimini covers are like new. She has a comfortable cockpit, tons of storage space, a walk through transom and a swim platform. The galley has new plumbing fixtures. She was hauled out in March 2016 and the bottom was painted and all through hulls below the waterline were replaced.
