1965 Soverel MORC1 VESSEL FOR SALE TO COLLECTORS OF ANTIQUE BOATS Or a buyer who would like to race in MORC-1 class antique racers.... possibly just an old salt who would love to sail her. Owner has some of her history of days when she raced. Soverel 29 was originally designed for open ocean racing on the MORC circuit and was proven almost unbeatable when sailed by an experienced crew. The large 10' cockpit seats up to 8 for weekend sailing, or provides ample room for a crack racing crew. Boat is up on the hard, bottom has just had new Interlux Racing bottom paint. Hull received 8 coats of AWL 2000 Craft Awlgrip color Light Blue F5516. Vessel has a Magic-Tilt Tandem Axel Trailer. Owner may consider a trade for a larger or smaller sailboat, or a Florida Keys lobster boat.

"Electra" is a high performance racing machine. This fast, light, fun and exciting 33' monohull has had so many podium finishes over her life that the seller has included a photo of a few of the many awards he has won.
She is simple to sail and has a sail inventory that is less than three years old. "Electra" has been sailed ONLY in FRESH WATER until she competed in St. Petersburg, FL Suncoast Race Week after which she was washed down and stored on shore on her cradle.
