This Striker Sport Fisherman was tore down to bare aluminum and re-built in 2019. Cushioning replaced in 2020. All of the electronics were replaced in 2021, including the Garmin. Re-painted entire vessel in 2020. Adventure Awaits. Stock #267446 Recently refurbished from bow to stern. Practically everything has been redone. Not another one like her on the market. This 1974 Striker 44 Sportfisherman is located in Rockport, Texas and has been recently refurbished from bow to stern. It is powered by Twin Inboard 425 Horsepower Detroit Diesel engines Newer items include: Top and Aluminum, complete new paint job after being taken down to bare aluminum, new electronics, audio lights, underwater lights, transponders, tanks with sensors, battery bank, new back deck, refurbished outriggers, hydraulics, wiring, teak and holly flooring, bumpers, cushions and storage boxes... The entire outside of the boat was repainted,the cockpit cover and Bridge enclosure are in great condition All wood work in cabin looks great ,flooring and carpet in great shape. professionally Maintained and gone over with a fine tooth comb this is a well kept beast!!! The seller bought this to refurbish. He has done a lot of work and the engine room is where the money is on this boat. It has 2 1000 hp Cat motors. Seller is moving soon so bring offers. Stock #258240 Super nice project boat. 2 1000 hp Marine grade Cat engines. Super nice project boat. 2 1000 hp Marine grade Cat engines. Incredibly strong, comparatively light weight and very fast and efficient for her size, this Striker 54 is one of only 98 total that was manufactured, all in the town of Omastrand, Norway. Featuring an all-aluminum plate, welded construction, with hull thickness of a 1/4 inch and superstructure plating of 3/16 you can kiss de-lamination, soft spots, elevated moisture content and loose bulkheads goodbye forever. The utilization of above waterline sea chests instead of thru-hulls for sea water connections, and fuel tank man-holes for inspection and cleaning are further bloodline ties her commercial ship design pedigree. For the sportfisher, over the years some have alleged that the harmonics of the aluminum hull actually attract Marlin Reason for selling is moving on to another project.
