1988 Tartan 31 The Tartan 31 is a much desired classic.  Not only does it look good on the water, it sails well and is so well built that the structure holds up well over time. It is a wonderful pocket cruiser, ideal for a young family or for a couple who don't want too much boat, but like performance.  The hull shape is sweet and the deep keel adds lift, so you will be passing much bigger boats in true Tartan style! The cockpit is a safe sailing cockpit, it's easy to move around the decks, which are in great shape. The interior is open and light, with an extra pilot berth to port in the salon and lots of storage for a boat of this size.
