Seoul Mate is a two stateroom 5800 which offers the large dining table for more comfortable entertaining (collapses into bed). She was purchased Dec '15 by an owner of an aviation company. As it is with most pilots, he likes his avionics (in this case navionics) to be up-to-date and perfect. $90,000 invested in the new electronics alone. He gutted the 19' G-series Raymarine units and upgraded to the best money can buy, Garmin 7616's. Not leaving good enough alone he added HD Radar, FLIR with joystick, AIS, Wifi, and even replaced all four TV's with Samsung's that are connected to Apple TVs to watch movies and share pictures throughout the boat no matter what room you're in. However, before replacing the electronics, the first thing he did was to make the boat mechanically perfect. Even though survey discovered few discrepancies he wanted to make sure it was 100% and that he personally had a fresh start with everything to include replacing all the seals on the pods and getting her fresh engine services.

2009 Tiara 5800 Sovran
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The subject vessel is found to be a triple screw, diesel powered motor yacht with a molded fiberglass hull with a white gel coat surface. It was constructed by Tiara Yachts (model 5800 Sovran) in Holland, Michigan during 2009. Vessel has been under cover and in fresh water since 2012. Main propulsion was provided by three Volvo Penta, model D6435D-C, marine diesel engines that developed 435 horsepower each (1 ,305 total horsepower) through Volvo Penta IPS, model 600, 360° pod system. The 5800 Sovran is every inch a Tiara. The interior of the vessel is very large with all the head room you could possibly need. The fit and finishing are excellent. All the appliances and materials used on the vessel are the best you can buy and install in a vessel of this size. The engine room is very clean in design and all of the machinery is easily accessible. Powered with the Triple IPS Volvo 435’s with the joystick, this vessel practically drives itself. Tiara also has a project captain that you can call to answer any question and give remote support no matter where you are. Tiara’s support is incredible and responds quickly. If you haven’t seen or been on a 58 Sovran, it is a must see! COSALCO is the finest example of all the 58 Sovran’s on the market and will be the next boat to buy.
COSALCO has a 36-square foot fiberglass hardtop sunroof above the helm station that opens with a touch of a button giving tremendous visibility from the helm. The starboard window adjacent to the helm glides up and down providing the captain with even more visibility down the side of the hull.
