The fly-bridge canvas cover was recently replaced and is in good condition. The dishwasher, washer, dryer and TV were added in 2019. The boat was hauled out and bottom painted in 2021. The seller acquired the vessel and began a no expense spared refit. The interior was taken down to the studs. The exterior was completely redone as well. The old gel coat was removed and redone with an epoxy finish. Under the deck, I beams were installed to reinforce the deck and hull. Twin John Deere 8.1 l engines were added. Bow and stern thrusters are powered by a 90hp Isuzu diesel. A full suite of modern electronics to guide you, provide safety and ease of operation. The vessel was used as a tow and salvage vessel. Major upgrades include a unique custom aft deck hardtop that was designed to be a load bearing sun deck without needing extra support posts.  Recent projects include new windows, new Ultraleather upholstery, newly revarnished interior woodwork, completely refurbished Nick Jackson davit, rebuilt anchor windlass and new Raymarine navigation electronics.  Hauled out and surveyed in 2016 with new bottom paint, new underwater lights, stuffing boxes rebuilt, new cutless bearings, new shaft couplers, trued shafts and rebuilt shaft logs. 1978 Uniflite 42 Convertible Do you want a safe, diesel powered boat to take the whole neighborhood fishing??? Look no further than this inexpensive alternative to a beat-up or fished-out deadrise. The Uniflite 42 is a rugged West Coast fisherman, built on a solid glass hull with an enormous 14'9" beam.  The aft cockpit is huge and can seat or fish a crowd.  You access the salon through a large door to starboard. Entering the interior you have a large salon and an inside helm to port.  There is great engine access because almost the entire floor can be opened up to gain access to the engine room.  Forward and down several steps you will find the galley to starboard.  To port is the convertible dinette. The dinette seats 4 and sleeps two. There is a separate stateroom forward with a V-berth. There is a head with access from the hallway and the forward stateroom. Topsides you find an over-sized helm. It is powered by twin Detroit Diesel 6-71 naturals with approximately 1500 hours. The engines start with the push of a button. 2013 survey found no major issues.
